Serpent 733 aluminium optionals

Serpent 733 optionals

Serpent have released a whole load of new optional parts for their 733 1/10th scale 200mm chassis. First up is this precision machined aluminium servo saver assembly which strengthens the area, removes flex and gives a precision fit for the Ackermann insert. Next up are these precision machined front suspension brackets to make the front of the car stiffer. Grey anodized, the standard nylon inserts fit smoothly. The side stiffener has also been given the machined aluminum treatment, with countersunk holes, light weight and great looks it will keep the spacing between the Centax gears and 2-speed gears more constant. Finally there is the new machined monoblock engine mount, which is a very strong and durable option, creating a stiffer chassis in that area compared to the two piece engine blocks.

The Rebel 10 is a 1/10 World GT class car while the Rebel 10SS is a 1/10 Oval Class chassis, both are due for a December release. Also on display for the Photon was their new Alloy/Graphite Hybrid Steering Crank. Due for a release in November, this is a stronger optional replacement of the original steering crank. Not only is it more durable, it also gives more accurate steering than the original counterpart. This new alloy/graphite hybrid design simplifies the machining process and is therefore more cost effective, without sacrificing performance and strength.

Xray NT1 brass engine mount

Xray NT1 brass engine mount

Xray have released this optional brass engine mount for the NT1 that provides solid engine mounting and easy adjustment. The Monoblock Engine Mount is recommended for all conditions, providing a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex 1-Piece Engine Mounting System. The engine area of the car and the area between engine and 2-speed is reinforced but the flex of the chassis is still available. This reinforced area of the chassis between the engine and 2-speed gears reduces the chance of spur gear breakage or stripping. CNC-machined from premium brass material. Precision machined with highest tolerances using premium fully-automatic German CNC-machines. Ultra-strong construction provides very long life and durability in even the most extreme racing conditions. The weight of the monoblock from brass material is 53.5g and is heavier by 26g then standard monoblock. Thanks to this extra weight, car has more incorner steering and not so much extra weight is needed.
