Chris Grainger took round two of the Schumacher BTCC at the magnificent Cotswold track over the weekend. The modified class was dominated by the MI4 of Grainger who took FTD and the overall victory, the day was made sweeter for Grainger’s team as the modified class saw three of the Schumacher cars on the podium, Colin Price was second with John Pape third. In Pro Stock it was another Schumacher 1-2-3, James Hart took both legs of the A final ahead of Lee Price and Mark Musgrove, while in the stock class Zak Finlay won ahead of fellow Schumacher driver Scott Hauser. Many drivers were using the BTCC as warm up for the BRCA national in three weeks time, and with the event held in scorching hot conditions, it did cause a few problems with overheating motors and ESC’c.
