Tamiya USA have released the new Performance Package version of the TRF801XT, which comes with updated parts to further optimize this truggy. Included in the kit are new shorter front and rear suspension arms that improve durability as well as performance. The new arms narrow the trucks width from 428mm to 422mm, the narrower stance improves handling and responsiveness. Also included in the Performance Package are new universal swing shafts to account for the narrower width of the new suspension arms. As an extra bonus the kit will now include item HD upper shock mounts. A one piece design, it allows for quicker and easier shock angle adjustment while providing a stronger mount. Answer RC have now made available a black version of their popular Losi 8 CVD Axles for both centre and wheel hubs. Specially hard coated in a tough black anodising to suit the EU Edition of the Losi 8 2.0, these CNC machined 7075 Aero grade aluminium CVD axles massively reduce rotating mass in the drive train of your vehicle, giving quicker spool up, reduced braking time and sharper handling. The Answer-RC CVD axles have been specially machined with additional CVD pin holes meaning that as the fit becomes sloppy they can simply be rotated round to the next set of holes.

Round 1 of the RC Pro State Series for Virginia was a blast. The event was held at RC Pro Racing in Gloucester Virginia. The track had undergone a complete overhaul the prior weekend and had yet to be raced on. Some racers camped out overnight on Friday to get an edge on the competition. The new layout is dramatically different than the previous track with 80 tons of new dirt added. The layout can best be described as an easy to drive track but difficult to go very fast, nice and technical with some fast elements. Everyone loved the new layout and the compliments flowed all day. The track owner, Roger Burris, is a stable in the Virginia RC scene. He and his wife Tammy run the RC Pro Racing hobby shop and track.

New from JConcepts is the Punisher body for the Mugen MBX-6. The radical new Punisher body features the slight cab-forward treatment which is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape. Also new are these Flip Outs, giving drivers that tire in-between the Goose Bumps and Double Dees they have asked for. A very small pin construction makes up the foundation for the Flip Outs design and gives the grip when the conditions are wet and green in the morning, when traction is sometimes hard to come-by. These tires are now available in green compound for both the 2.2″ 4wd front wheel and the 2.2″ truck wheel.
The 4th round for the 2010 Hessencup was held in Bischofsheim from last weekend and attracted 75 drivers. Saturday was controlled practice and 1 round of qualifying with another 2 rounds for Sunday. LRP driver Jörn Neumann took TQ, followed by Alex Hardt in 2nd and Tim Bremicker in 3rd. In the extended 40min main final Jörn took the win with his LRP car, in front of Associated driver Tim Bremicker in 2nd, 1 lap back, with 3rd place going to Gerhard Frank 2 laps back driving a Kyosho.

Featuring a new lightweight carbon dual frame chassis and new “Nano” gear box design for high rotation brushless motor, the axle parts are same of Berg 2.2 V2 axles and Berg 2.2 Tracer chassis kit.
