Czech EP TC Winter Championship Rd1

The opening round of the Czech EP TC Winter Championship took place last weekend in Trutnov, Czech Republic and was attended by 93 racers across 4 classes, Modified, Stock, 1/12th and 1/18th. The event also hosted the 2nd round of the Open Tour Trutnov series and this was won in both Stock and Modified by 14 times Czech champion Martin Korinek racing an Xray. In the Winter Championship Stock class it was Hot Bodies racer Jakub Plechac that topped the timesheets after qualifying and went on to win all 3 A-main legs to take the overall from Serpent racer Tomas Svoboda in 2nd and last years Winter Champion Vojtech Novicky racing for Xray in 3rd. In the Modified category there was a big fight between current Winter Champion Michal Bok racing for Xray and Summer Champion Zdenek Hamak with Hot Bodies, but in the third round of qualification it was Michal who was quickest and took TQ. In the finals, the first leg went to Zdenek, but in the second and third leg Michal was lucky and was able to take the overall with Zdenek finishing in 2nd, with the final step of the podium going to Jan Moravek. The championship continues in two weeks in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic and it will finish in Trebic in the middle of March.

Capricorn RC Pit Box, Regulater & Setup system

Capricorn RC Pit Box, Regulater & Setup system

Capricorn RC in Italy have been crazy busy lately adding to their product range, even branching out into conversions and complete kits. Today they have released a number of new items including this great looking aluminium pit box. Sporting a carbon decal, the box is similar to others on the market with space for all the tools and parts you need to take into the pit-lane with you for that important race. Also new is their exhaust gas regulator and cooler, which like other systems can help you regulate the pressure between the muffler and the tank while at the same time cooling the exhaust gases to help improve fuel consumption. New for setting up your car is this red anodized setup system for touring cars and separately 1/8th scale on road. Supplied in a handy metal case, the system is ball raced for optimal precision. Finally, also for set up is their new aluminium gauge set, which includes 2 chassis droop gauge blocks, chassis droop gauge -5 to 10mm and a chassis ride height gauge with a range from 3-10mm.
