Sirio have released the latest generation of their .12 size engine called the Evo4. Featuring a 3 port ABC EFRA legal liner and a special STI type black coated crankshaft, this new motor complies with the 2007/2008 EFRA regulations. Using some new material for the carburettors main needle, a new conrod and a new lightweight cooling head, the Evo4 offers the highest performance for your 1:10 200mm touring car.

Charge RC Kyosho Spada bumper

Charge RC in Japan have announced the upcoming release of this extra wide bumper for the Kyosho Spada gas powered 1/12th scale. Made from 3mm thick impact resistant material, the bumper extends to the full width of the body shell helping to protect the front end of the car in the event of an accident. Available from November 10th.

3 Racing Automatic Tire Truer Version 2.0

3 Racing, makers of after market upgrade parts for R/C Cars, have just released the 2nd version of their Automatic tire truer. As with the first generation truer, it has a variable speed fully-automatic truing cycle, adjustable sanding edge and comes supplied with wheel adaptors for 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12 scale tires. What’s new is that you can now power it using built in batteries, similar to a starter box, it now has a handle and comes supplied in an extra light-weight protection box.

Hoppe wins Hildesheim 1/12th German qualifier

Last weekend Team Kyosho 1:8 on road nitro driver, and 2006 Class 2 race winner, Lars Hoppe moved back into electric powered racing for the winter. The former Corally team driver and 2006 DHI-Cup winner was debuting his new 1:12th Corally in the first round of the qualification of the North German region in Hildesheim. It turned out to be a perfect weekend for the Corally team, with Lars going on to win the modified class while Jan Asmer took the win in the Stock class.

Atomic RC have released yet more optional parts for their favourite 1/10th 200mm, the Xray NT1. Adding to their already extensive line-up, the new parts include a reinforced rear stabilizer mount, aluminium 7075 hex wheel adapters and middle mounts for the radio tray. Also newly available is a lightweight 2nd gear adapter, an aluminium center shaft mounting bracket, a flex-control engine mount set, lightweight delrin adjustable nut for use on the 8.4mm pivot balls and finally a graphite brake linkage set.

Teemu Leino wins 2007 Rebellion race

Teemu Leino wins 2007 Rebellion race

Xray are reporting on the recent Rebellion race organized by the small MMR club in Mäntsälä and which attracted top foreign racers such as Marc Fisher, Federico Sala and Ivan Laptev. The modified class saw the pole position go to Xray team driver Teemu Leino and he also took control in the finals, winning the first 2 of 3 which secured him the overall win in front of Corally racer Marc Fisher in 2nd with Yokomo driver Viljami Kutvonen in 3rd.
