Wayne Mah wins Canadian CORCS Nationals

Xray are reporting on their site from the CORCS National finals that were run at the VMAR track in British Columbia, Canada. With the track tearing up badly the qualifying runs were best in the first round and this placed Xray driver Mah on 3rd for the final. In the race the track continued to get rougher and setup changes by Mah meant that he could challenge for the lead and go on to head the field from the 2nd half of the race, winning from Mike Crazy and Tom Waggoner in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Hudy 1/8th Buggy Droop blocks

Hudy 1/8th Buggy Droop blocks

Hudy have announced the release of these first purpose designed and manufactured droop gauge support blocks for 1/8 Off-road. As with all droop support blocks their use is dead simple, simply remove the tires from your buggy and using a flat surface put the car chassis on the support blocks, placing the front support block below the servo saver and the rear support block below the rear suspension mounting. Then using a chassis droop gauge with elevated scales, measure the droop under the wheel axle hex, using the downstop screws to alter the suspension droop on each side of the car.
