Pesenti takes Rd3 of Swiss 1/8th Nats

Pesenti takes Rd3 of Swiss 1/8th Nats

Last weekend saw the 3rd round of the Swiss 1/8th scale Championship take place on the Sitterdorf track and our man Mattia Pesenti was once again in top form with his Novarossi powered Motonica and he has provided us with this report.

On Saturday morning the sun was shining, and it was about 25 degrees. This track is quite fast and so it is very difficult to do the 5 minutes. In the controlled practice I crashed my car at the end of the straight but for the first round of qualifying it was ready to win. Just before the first round we saw some black clouds coming…so we had to finish this round without mistake.

The Nomac class saw a close, race long, battle between young drivers Miguel Hereijgers and René van Dijk, with Miguel taking the top spot in the closing stages of the race thanks to a different tire strategy, Arco Wijnen came home 3rd.
