Redmond & Evison win Southport Indoor NW GP

Southport Indoor NW GP

At the recent annual North West indoor GP held in Southport the drivers were greeted with a highly technical and well laid track including a wall ride, which seems standard at indoor off buggy races these days. 55 drivers had turned up for the event and in 2wd it was Stuart Mahon who took the TQ spot whilst in 4wd it was Mark Redmond who took the pole position. In the 2wd race, Mahon stormed off into the lead but a crash, whilst passing a back marker, damaged his car and he could only claim 4th whilst Chris Evison took the win. In 4wd it was Redmond all the way and led from start to finish to claim the race win ahead of Barry Weldon.
