Team Bomber TB-F1WS conversion kit

Team Bomber TB-F1WS conversion kit

Team Bomber from Japan have introduced their TB-F1WS conversion kit for the Tamiya F104 formula car. Based on a 2.5mm high-quality carbon fibre chassis the kit incorporates several features such as the ability to mount the battery pack using tape and it comes with a redesigned upper deck that takes the long friction damper tubes which are mounted along the roll centre of the car instead of the usual transversal position most of today’s kits use. This makes for a very slim chassis appearance and allows for very low mounted bodyshells. The car is also of a conventional T-bar design which is meant to offer improved traction on low to medium-bite surfaces, such as asphalt or “green” carpet, and it also makes for better bump track handling. The chassis design allows to use standard and shorty battery packs, it is usable in both rubber and foam tyre classes and the kit is designed to run Tamiya-type front and rear end assemblies.
