MIBO Electric Bubble Puller

Czech brand MIBO has introduced the Electric Bubble Puller, a practical tool for every RC car racer.  It is designed to create a vacuum and pull all air bubbles from your damper or differential oil with a push of a button.  Just connect a power supply or battery and you are almost done.  With practicality in mind, 2 variants were selected to fit most racers. Even those, who race in more than just one class, can have just one vacuum pump.  Two variants of the Bubble Puller are available with one intended for 1:10 racers, both onroad and offroad, and a large version for offroad racers for both 1:10 and 1:8 use.  Both of them have a compact, quality design and reliable operation, which simplifies the process of removing air bubbles, making it quicker, easier and more effective.  Using an electric vacuum pump for removing air bubbles from RC car damper oil offers several advantages. It helps prevent foaming and cavitation, which can lead to unpredictable suspension behaviour and reduced damping effectiveness and also improves their performance and responsiveness.  The package also includes a quality case, ensuring the protection of the pump during transport and storage.

Infinity IF14-2TE Aluminium & Titanium screw set

Having launched their new IF14-2 Team Edition at the end of 2022, Infinity has added an 84 piece titanium and aluminium screw set to its parts listing.  Titanium is used on the underside of the chassis where strength is required.  Aluminium screws are used on the upper surface of the chassis to reduce weight and lower the centre of gravity.  The use of aluminium screws also optimises the rigidity balance and flex characteristics of the entire chassis.  The upper screws are finished in red colour reflecting Infinity’s branding.

Leadfinger Racing N1 Beretta body & front wing

In the latest release of the Beretta body range, US offroad bodyshell manufacturer Leadfinger Racing has introduced a variant to fit Agama’s N1 along with a front wing for the buggies unique front suspension design.  The Beretta was developed in mind to give the N1 an aggressive look that would reflect chiseled body lines and deliver a dominating stance unlike any other body on the track. After the first prototype was revealed, the new look surprised Agama fans and complemented the one-of-a-kind characteristics of N1’s unique design.  Starting at the top, the cab has been lengthened to better fit Agama’s stock air filter while offering plenty of room for racers to use an aftermarket filter of their choice.  To provide a more streamlined look, Leadfinger slightly raised the front and the rear posts with the included spacers and 3mm screws.  This allows the body to flow evenly front to back without sacrificing the Beretta’s low-profile design.  The enlarged cut lines also allow better clearance for both pairs of shocks.  One of the biggest attributes and most noticed is Leadfinger’s front wing (sold separately).  This new wing design not only adds aerodynamics but protects the springs form scratches and dirt build up. No need to be concerned about longevity, Leadfinger has backed their design with the correct thickness for maximum durability.

JConcepts Swiper 1:8 and SCT Dirt Oval tyre

JConcepts has introduced their Swiper tyre which has been in development since 2021 and is intended for 1:8 Dirt Oval racing.  Designed to compete on dirt oval track surfaces which require a hefty treaded tire that can go the distance, the Swiper tyre can pull double duty for SCT based vehicles and 1:8 buggy inspired dirt oval vehicles in a variety of conditions.  The 2.2 x 3.0” bead-based diameters work well with all SCT wheels and JConcepts own wheel specifically designed for 1:8 dirt oval vehicles.  The profiled carcass is advanced with deep pads of directional tread poised to bite specific surfaces.  The platform has a heavy center bar section of tread that provides openings and can help drive a vehicle in wet or slightly loamy conditions. The side tread is equally spaced, grooved and cut to slice through the dust, marbles, and small debris associated with dirt oval racing. The inner carcass includes ribbing to help brace and support the lower end of the sidewall while a specially built firm closed cell insert supports the upper sidewall and top of the carcass.  The Swiper tyre is available in blue (soft), Aqua A2 (medium soft long-wear) compounds.  The included Dirt-Cell insert is a harder based material, stealth black in colour, with minimal sculpting to provide the most amount of support for increased durability and drive-ability.

Serpent SRX8 GT optional 12/44 ratio

Serpent has released a new optional 12/44 ratio for their SRX8 1:8 GT Chassis.  Every year new engines are being developed as engine manufacturers squeeze more power or RPM out of a .21 sized nitro engine.  It could also be that more short tracks are running GT than ever before.  Either way, Serpent believe it is very important to keep up on what is happening in the market.  Their current SRX8 GT car has an internal ratio of 13/44, and it was great for a majority of conditions, however, times have changed and a larger range is needed.  Now Serpenr has made an optional ratio 12/44, creating a class specific ratio.  Although it seems like a minor change, the on track performance can be quite huge.  The outcome would be more acceleration with reduced load on the engine.  This will allow you to utilise different ratio splits, or even different fuel mixtures that can result in longer run times.

MIBO Stealth Magnetic Front Body Mount for Drift

MIBO has introduced this adjustable aluminium front body mount for drift cars which features a strong 10mm magnets and hidden structure for clean look of the chassis. The MIBO Stealth Magnetic Front Body Mount offers a unique and innovative solution for attaching the body shell to the chassis, that is now completely invisible. Like other magnetic body mounts, it removes holes and body clips from the bodyshell, but unlike them, it now removes visible parts from the chassis as well. Its aluminium structure is mounted on the inner side of the body, so the chassis keeps a sleek look. Without any posts, or even without front bumper, if you want. Just use a pair of the included magnets as washers under screws in a suitable location. It offers a wide range of adjustments to fit almost any combination of chassis and bodyshell. Featuring variable spacing for magnets, height and angle of the mounting plate, it can be attached by lexan-friendly glue, or double-sided tape. And when tightened properly, it becomes so sturdy, you will never need to worry about it getting loose.
