Yokomo Europe YZ-2 & YZ-4 stainless steel weights

Yokomo Europe have introduced new stainless steel balancing weights for the Yokomo YZ-2 and YZ-4 buggies. Made to add weight in the lowest possible position, the parts come in handy especially in high-grip and very bumpy conditions. Available are three different weights, as are a heavy 52g weight for the YZ-2CA/DT, a 26g variant for the YT-2CA/DT and YZ-4 as well as a 11g under motor weight for the YZ-2CA. Belgian SCT Cup Rd3 – Report

Belgian SCT Cup Rd3 – Report

Round three of the Belgian SCT Cup was held at the Buggy Racing Tournai club and on an unanimously praised new layout. Unfortunately, like last year in May, the weather had different plans for the weekend. Massive rain during the week before the race meant the club members had to work hard in order to prep the track and the surroundings and it was even possible to start the race on Sunday but more heavy rainfall around noon left the organisers with no choice but to cancel the event. Thankfully the qualifiers were done at that point and therefore the qualifying ranking was used to determine the final ranking.

Reflex Racing RX4-16 chassis & T4 shock towers

Reflex Racing RX4-16 chassis & T4 shock towers

Coming from Reflex Racing and made for the Xray T4 touring car are the RX4-16 quasi carbon fibre chassis and 4mm carbon fibre shock towers. Starting with the chassis plate, the RSD RX4-16 was developed for the Xray T4 and it is made from RSD’s own quasi isotropic 2.0mm carbon fibre for more rigidity, translating into increased response, grip and a lower centre of gravity over the stock unit. The shape profiles for the chassis have been developed over the past year with a focus to provide a more consistent car feel and less tyre overheating over a run. The design moves the flex to the bulkhead areas which results in a car that rotates faster and harder all while maintaining a higher level of grip. Additionally the chassis has been made completely symmetrical so that the left to right flex of the car can be equalised as much as possible.
