AGFRC Position Feedback Servos

New from servo manufacturer AGFRC is their range of Position Feedback servos.  Beside the normal hobby servo function, these servos can provide position feedback via a potentiometer through the additional fourth orange wire, which is capable to measure the output angle directly.  Available in two high torque 40Kg models and a 50Kg Super high torque high torque model, they all feature steel gear chain design for heavy duty application.  Simply hookup the analog feedback wire to any Analog pin of Microcontroller.  With this position feedback function, you can ensure the servo has reached its designated position or detect any potential impediments, of course, this allows additional closed-loop control from your controller.  Enable for more complex robotics or industry applications, such as determining when the servo has reached its target, detecting when the output is blocked, or implementing your own higher-level closed-loop position control.  Custom spec is acceptable.

MXLR MTC2 / MTC2R FlexBumper

MXLR has extended its FlexBumper production line with addition of a model for the Mugen MTC2/MTC2R 1:10 Electric Touring Car.  MXLR FlexBumpers are 3D printed with thermoplastic polyurethane for the optimal strength and flexibility.  Over foam bumpers they absorb hits better and doesn’t transfer them as much into the chassis structure.  More robust and sturdy, it always goes back to original shape and don’t drag on the floor after a crash.  For the Mugen MTC2 / MTC2R it matches the original footprint, but with a lower overall profile as a direct replacement for the kit foam.  The lower overall profile helps to keep the weight in an acceptable range.  There are two MX logos on the backside to proof the originality.  In terms of weight comparison,  the MXLR FlexBumper is ~11,4g versus the original Kit Bumper at ~8,7g.

Amped Up RC 2s Balance Charge Leads

Following Donathen RC’s launch of its Amped Up RC range of off the shelve cables, they have released the first 3 products, 2s Balance Charge Leads.  These leads are designed by DRC using DRC proportions, DRC connectors, 10 awg wire, and adhesive heat shrink.  Each lead is fully protected with black sheathing covering all wires, increasing the protection, and lifespan of the lead.  This sheathing can easily slide around with regular heat shrink, that is why we offer these leads with dual wall adhesive heat shrink. Not only does the adhesive heat shrink keep the sheathing in place, it adds durability, sturdiness, and molds to the connection providing the best protection available.  To start, Amped Up RC is offering 3 balance leads, 5mm bullet connectors, Xt90 connectors, and Qs8 connectors 24″ long made with 10 awg wire.  A unique feature of these leads is that they can be used with any charger that uses a JST-Xh balance housing.
