Schumacher SupaStox Atom GT12 alloy hub carriers

Schumacher SupaStock Atom GT12 alloy hub carriers

Schumacher have introduced new lightweight alloy front hubs for the SupaStox Atom GT12. The new alloy front hub has a host of new features to improve the car’s usability, performance and durability. Using the hubs will offer improved and smoother suspension action due to the specially impregnated hard anodising for extra low co-efficient of friction. The assembly is also lighter and smaller than the kit parts as the additional bump steer steering post is no longer required. Furthermore the new design allows for easy ride height adjustment using the included 0.25mm, 0.50mm and 2.00mm shims. On top of this the system allows for droop control, as addition or subtraction of shims allows easy front droop adjustment. Last but not least the hubs allow for easy caster adjustment, independent of ride height and they are stronger than the kit parts.

Traugott Schär wins 200mm class at Swiss Nats Rd2

Traugott Schär wins 200mm class at Swiss Nats Rd2

Round two of the Swiss Nitro On-road Nationals was held at the iconic Lostallo track. After four rounds of qualifying, Xray’s Traugott Schär grabbed the overall TQ but with rain pouring down in the main final, many drivers were uncertain what to expect during the race. Traugott Schär opted to run his spare rain car although he didn’t know anything about its behaviour in the given track conditions. At the end it worked out very well for the pole position holder as he won the A-main in front of his teammates Rapahel Wicki and Patrick Fankhauser in second and third respectively.

Following a first teaser image Team Losi Racing have now officially revealed the 22-4 2.0 1/10th scale 4WD electric buggy kit. Based off of the previous vehicle the 2.0 features subtle refinements and improvements such as reinforced front wishbones that do away with the breaking issues associated with the original design. Also new is a rear aluminium camber plate that features vertical ball stud mounting positions and a reduced number of mounting holes for the inner camber link pivots, making for easier and more convenient roll centre adjustments using shims. The redesigned rear end is finished off by an optimised suspension geometry with the off-set rear hubs making for a wider track, resulting in a more planted feel.
