Exotek 22 3.0 LCG aluminium gearbox set

Exotek 22 3.0 LCG aluminium gearbox set

Following a first teaser image Exotek have now released full details on their all-new LCG gearbox set for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. Centred around an aluminium gearbox with 3-gear setup the concersion let the three transmission gears operate in a straight line for an extra low centre of gravity and a smoother running idler gear. The diff case is machined from 7075 aluminium and the new motor plate is of a vented design to lower the motor temperatures. In addition to the lower centre of gravity the gearbox stiffens up the rear of the chassis as well as the shock tower for improved consistency on high-bite tracks. Using the gearbox requires to drill two extra holes into the chassis although the original gearbox can still be used, allowing for gearbox swaps if conditions call for it. Included in the set comes the black anodised and laser-etched gearbox, the alloy lightweight motor plate, a Delrin diff cover, carbon fibre battery strap with alloy hinge as well as alloy waterfall spacers, the chassis drill template, hardware and full instructions.

Reflex Racing introduce new TC7 & TC6.2 options

Reflex Racing introduce new TC7 & TC6.2 options

Reflex Racing have new option parts for the Team Associated TC7 and TC6.2 touring cars available. First up is an alloy chassis for the TC7 that was custom designed around the latest AE Platform to maximum performance especially on the new CRC and ETS black carpets. The chassis moves the flex points away from the centre of the chassis and towards the bulkheads for more rotation, steering and stability which translates into faster lap times and a more consistent car that is also easier on tyres over a full run. The chassis is now also narrower, allowing for lower ride heights and less rubbing on the newer CRC Carpet which calls for higher ride heights. The 81mm wide chassis is cut from 7075-T6 ThyssenKrupp aluminium alloy, it includes carbon fibre battery brackets and mounting hardware.

Schelle B5M & TLR 22 3.0 vented motor plates

Schelle B5M & TLR 22 3.0 vented motor plates

Coming from Schelle Racing Innovations are lightweight vented motor plates for the Team Associated B5M and the TLR 22 3.0. Cut from high-quality aluminium and coming in an anodised finish the motor plates offer minimised weight, increased airflow, and maximised rigidity. The unique vent slits are machined partial depth on the back side of the motor plate to create two tiny slits in the plate. These slits will keep air flowing through, and everything else outside and the plates are fully machined to keep them from warping under extreme stress and heat and they weight in at only 12.95g for the B5M and 13.8g for the TLR plate. They are available as B5M 3 or 4-gear variant in black or blue colour and as black or hard anodised finish version for the 3-gear TLR 22 3.0.

JConcepts TLR 22 3.0 titanium front axle

JConcepts TLR 22 3.0 titanium front axle

JConcepts have introduced a titanium front axle set for the TLR 22 3.0 2WD off-road buggy. Designed especially for the 3.0 the user-friendly and lightweight axles are of a single piece design, allowing the use of a traditional 4mm lock-nut instead of the stock screw type design originally used on the 22 platform. Titanium material lowers the weight, increases strength over aluminium and increases the bling factor by 10-fold. This design can easily be installed on the 22 3.0 buggy by using the existing hardware from the TLR kit.
