Schumacher CAT 12.5 degree alloy yokes

Schumacher CAT 12.5 degree alloy yokes

Schumacher have introduced 12.5 degree alloy yokes for the CAT 4WD buggy. The parts are made from black anodised aluminium and using them makes for more on-power steering coming out of the corner while increasing straight line stability. This will help on bumpy tracks but with the loss of some initial steering. The laser-etched hubs have the same features as the kit plastic 10 degree yokes as well as an optional longer camber link and +1mm wheelbase adjustment.

Mugen droop gauge & MBX7 balance weights

Mugen droop gauge & MBX7 balance weights

Mugen Seiki have introduced a droop gauge as well as two balance weights for the MBX7 line of off-road vehicles. Starting with the gauge, the tool is made to easily adjust the suspension droop as it slides over the upper shock mounting nut while the lower scale helps to read the actual suspension droop. The gauge is large enough to be used on both the MBX7 buggy and MBX7T truggy and, when used with the shocks alone, it also comes in handy to determine the shock rebound. Also new are the 20g and 40g balance weights for the MBX7 cars. They can be used in the front and the rear of the nitro-powered vehicles while the electric-powered variants only allow to mount the weights behind the front gearbox. The balance weights are marked for easy identification and they easily attach using screws and the pre-drilled holes in the chassis.
