Lamberto Collari officially joins Infinity

Infinity and parent brand Creation Model have announced the official signing of 9-times record World Champion Lamberto Collari to their team following a recent period of unofficial collaboration between the Italian veteran racer and the Japanese company. His skills, experience, dedication and hard work for sure will be a great asset to the young Infinity brand and Lamberto has the following to say about the deal:

Max Götzl team up with Xray

Xray have announced the signing of young and talented Czech off-road driver Max Götzl to their junior team. Max is a long time Xray supporter and a regular winner of the junior categories at national off-road events. Max says:

I’m very happy to be part of the team Xray. I have started with racing in 2009. During this time Xray have been producing the best products for us. With Xray’s cars I was able to grab several junior titles in different categories as well as finishing on podium among the best Czech drivers. I am very happy to be given this opportunity and hope this will help me to improve myself even more. I will race all the main races in Czech Republic including the XWS Czech Republic as well as some international events including EOS, Euros, etc.

Exotek Yokomo 1/10 buggy aluminium option parts

Exotek Racing have new aluminium option parts for Yokomo’s YZ line of 1/10th off-road vehicles available. First up are zero degree rear hubs for the YZ-2 and YZ4. They are machined from 7075 aluminium and sport a vertical ball stud mounting position for easy roll centre adjustments. Extra machining makes the parts light of weight without sacrificing durability and they are utilising an extra hole for using a 3mm set screw on the hinge pin for improved fit. The parts are anodised in factory black and they sport etched Exotek logos.

STRC Ascender aluminium shock parts

ST Racing Concepts have new aluminium shock parts for the Vaterra Ascender 1/10th off-road vehicle available. First up is a set of threaded shock bodies, lower shock caps, and spring collars. The high-quality and precision CNC-machined shock bodies comes in either gun metal or scale black anodising, or there is the option of having blue anodised collars and lower caps for a more accentuated look. The shock collars come with O-rings inside to accurate hold spring pre-load settings. The lower caps features machined grips for ease of assembly. The shock bodies and accessories come as pairs and are a direct replacement for the standard composite items. Also new is a four piece set of aluminium upper shock caps. Like the spring collars they feature machined grips for easy assembly and they are available in black, gun metal, silver or blue anodising.

Xray have announced another of their famous Work.Shop events with the next one being held in the Czech Republic on Saturday the 7th of November. Held in the sport hall in Kolin during the opening round of the Czech Xray Winter Series, Xray’s Martin Hudy will be present to give setup help for the T4’16 touring car while factory team driver Martin Bayer is there to introduce the all-new Xray XB2 1/10th 2WD off-road buggy. Low-profile shorty batteries are quickly becoming the favoured configuration for 2WD and 4WD buggies thanks to their light weight and low centre of gravity. Reedy’s new offering provides 3400mAh capacity for modified class racers while a 50C discharge rating smooths the power output to reduce lap times. The hardcase battery utilises 4mm low-resistance sockets, it meets ROAR, EFRA, BRCA and IFMAR specifications, measures 93x47x18.5mm and it weighs in at only 155g.

Team Associated Apex Scion Racing FS-R LiPo Combo

The latest Team Associated kit to receive the LiPo Combo treatment is the Apex Scion Racing 2015 Formula Drift car. Fitted with the same racing livery as the full-size FR-S driven by Greddy pro driver Ken Gushi, the kit features a Reedy brushless motor and digital speed control, sealed metal-gear diffs and a tough 4WD system with aluminium drive shaft. High-grip treaded racing tyres are mounted on 10-spoke hex drive wheels that include realistic-looking details such as brake rotors and callipers. Four adjustable fluid-filled, coil-over, tuned shocks make managing imperfections in the road effortless. Included with the LiPo Combo is also the Reedy compact balance charger as well as a WolfPack 3300mAh 30C 7.4V LiPo battery.

DMS Partz B44.3 carbon fibre chassis set

New from DMS Partz and made for the Team Associated B44.3 4WD buggy is a carbon fibre chassis set with Avid balance weights. As used by several of the Team Associated team drivers and also used by Team Associated’s Neil Cragg to TQ this year’s oOple race in the 4WD class the chassis is designed to be stronger and more rigid than the kit supplied aluminium offering, which results in a sharper and more responsive feel to the car. The new chassis gives drivers the option of switching the steering servo to either the left or right position on the chassis with holes provided for both layouts. In keeping with the kit options, forward or rear motor options are available and both saddle or shortly LiPo layouts can be used.
