Jack Holger Sørensen wins at Danish On-road Champs

Jack Holger Sørensen wins at Danish On-road Champs

A round of the Danish On-road Nationals was recently held at the Hillerod RC Racing club. In the 200mm Nitro class Rasmus B. Nielsen showed some good speed during Saturday’s dry practice. Sunday started out wet but this did not kept the driver from fighting for valuable points in the championship. Rasmus already had a 9 point lead over runner-up Claus Ryeskov in the championship and there was no reason for him to start but other drivers wanted to tackle the wet track to keep their positions in the championship so at the end the drivers decided to do one qualifier followed by the finals.

Cody King wins at 1st annual Easy Money Race

Cody King wins at 1st annual Easy Money Race

The 1st annual Easy Money race was held at Thunder Alley RC Raceway. The 1/8th Nitro Buggy main final was a battle between Kody Neumedahl (Team Associated), Richard Saxton (Team Associated) and Cody King (Kyosho) at first. Cody chased them down and got around them but crashed and dropped back to 4th. Due to the hot weather a lot of cars had issues and after a quick pit stop to having his engine adjusted Cody was on a mission again. Richard was surprisingly tough to get around, but eventually Cody would lap the field on his way to the win. At the end results behind the leader mixed up a bit and it would be local fast guy Steve Harris (Mugen) in 2nd and Chad Panek (Tekno) in 3rd who rounded out the podium.

BRCA Touring Car Series final round – Report

BRCA Touring Car Series final round – Report

The final round of the BRCA Touring Car series took place at the West London track over the weekend. The meeting saw a victory for Schumacher’s Elliott Harper and in winning the meeting he took the 2015 Modified title. Going into the final round five potential drivers were still capable of taking the title, Harper made the best possible start by taking TQ ahead of championship contenders Chris Grainger, Olly Jefferies and Colin Price. Over the three leg finals Harper was able to ease a small gap over the chasing pack and keep out of trouble while Grainger Jefferies and Price battled behind, this allowed him to take the first two legs reasonably comfortably and in doing so take the meeting and title. Second at west London for the Associated of Grainger gave him second in the series and Jefferies completed the podium and that result netted him third in the series for Xray. The BRCA Championship win for Harper is his first national title and well deserved after coming close on a couple of previous occasions in the last two seasons with Team Durango.

Exotek DEX210 rear bulkhead & suspension hangers

Exotek DEX210 rear bulkhead & suspension hangers

Exotek Racing have new aluminium option parts for the Team Durango 210-series 2WD vehicles in mid motor configuration available. First up is a rear bulkhead conversion made of high-strength 7075 aluminium and machined down to minimise weight. The part provides standard width but lowered inner camber link mounting points for improved high roll centre options. Also gear box access and removal is much easier as the suspension stays fully in place when the gear box is removed. The stronger inner ball end mounting makes for more durable camber link mounting and the design also reinforces the gear box mounting. The part, that fits all versions of the DEX210, DESC210 and DEST210, uses stock Team Durango type 2 or Exotek type 2 rear suspension hangers and included come spacers and hardware. The conversion is recommended for experienced modellers as it requires hand-cutting of the original gear box.
