Serpent SRX8 GTE LWB Raceroller

Serpent is now offering a version of their successful Serpent SRX8 GTE 1:8 GT chassis as a pre-assembled and factory pre-set LWB chassis with pre-mounted GT tyres. For the new SRX8GTE LWB Raceroller, Serpent has extended the chassis an additional 29mm for use with all true to scale related RC bodies. This durable GT chassis allows a great entry in the racing scene, at a lower cost, and will make you finish your races. Featuring 4-wheel-drive with cardan shafts, 2 geardiffs, solid center axle, 16mm bigbore shocks, aluminium shocktower and chassis and easy radiobox, it is fully upgradable with parts and options from the high end race-version. The parts that are needed to run the car are a bodyshell, esc, motor, servo and battery.

JConcepts JCI Tuck 1989 Ford F-150 cab only

JConcepts has released its latest ‘tucked’ body intended for 1:10 RC crawlers, the 1989 Ford F-150 “cab only” for the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport, Enduro, Axial, Vanquish 12.3″ wheelbase. Officially licensed by Ford to JConcepts, when called upon, the Florida company’s design team steps up to the plate with licensed designs, clever takes, and innovative approaches to the Golden era of pick-up trucks. This 1989 Ford F-150 “cab only” for scale RC trucks is a bit new but carries a tradition of classic looks while maintaining performance. The body is intended for 12.3” wheelbase builds and fits a large assortment of vehicles on the market to satisfy a genre.

HoBao Hyper GT2 1:8 GT Kit

HoBao has released it’s latest kit for the popular 1:8 GT category, the nitro powered Hyper GT2. Based on a 3mm lightweight hard anodised aluminium chassis the car features Turnbuckles/All Balls/Pivot Balls/Rear Hubs/Steering Rack all CNC’d from 7075 aluminium with hard anodised finish. The main new features of the GT2 are new anti-leakage differential housing, new CNC Alu Front Top Plate, new 4mm thick CNC alu front and rear shock towers and a new CNC alu clutch shoe with 1.1mm clutch spring.

Hobbywing has announced a new high output motor specially designed for 1:10 Stock Outlaw competition, the XeRun Bandit G4. The new high efficiency motor has a unique design for faster heat dissipation and features 20-60 degrees fully-adjustable mechanical timing as well as Dual Sensor port design for ease of wiring. Compared with the Bandit G2R motor, the new Bandit G4 is 12% more efficient. MIBO celebrates 1st birthday

Exactly one year ago today we ran the news that international touring car racer Michal Bok was launching his own brand MIBO, and to celebrate their first business milestone they are offering an 11% discount on all MIBO products ordered today. Over the 12-months since announcing the brand, MIBO has launched 112 products and Bok is excited by some of the new products the Czech based company has planned to bring to racers in the coming months. As well as releasing products, Bok’s passion for racing has also lead the brand to creating its own race event, the MIBO International Race. For both electric onroad and offroad, the inaugural 2023 event was a huge success with the 2nd edition already announced for February 16-18th, 2024. Having travelled to Hrotovice to cover the event, Red RC is looking forward to attending the race again next year.
