Sweep Racing SRC Revo-series pre-mounted tyres

Sweep Racing SRC Revo-series pre-mounted tyres

Sweep Racing have introduced their new SRC brand which sets a focus on bashers and fun racers. Developed with Sweep Racing’s R&D facility in California the tyres combine racing technology with go everywhere ability and thus both the Road Crusher on-road and Terrain Crusher off-road tyre feature a reinforcing inner belt that prevents the tyres from ballooning under aggressive acceleration and under high speeds. Both tyres come in a unique rubber compound for high grip and exceptional durability and they are pre-glued to newly developed spoke rims that are a direct fit on the Traxxas Revo series trucks. The tyres offer a diameter of 147mm and a width of 80mm and they come on black, silver, bronze or black chrome rims.

In Modified Elliott Harper took TQ and leg one of the Modified A final and looked on course to score his first win since moving to Schumacher for 2015, but in leg two and three Elliott seemed to lose his performance advantage and was swallowed up by the chasing pack, Associated’s Chris Grainger took advantage in leg two and in leg three Colin Price took the leg and with it the win, the top three of Price, Grainger and Xray’s Olly  Jefferies tied on points but the tie breaker fell in favour of Price giving him his second ever UK national win.
