Carten T410 Rally Kit

Carten RC has released details of their upcoming T410 Rally Kit. Based on their plastic chassis 1:10 190mm T410 kit, the Rally kit is intended for more intense driving. The bathtub chassis with a cover that improve dustproofing effect. Aluminum chassis plates front and rear make more durability on rougher terrain. The front 7 degree kick back design make car more stable when running on bumpy track conditions. The kit includes aluminium C hubs, full CVDs and aluminium 67mm front and 77mm rear shocks.

Jade Lim joins VP-Pro

VP-Pro has announced the signing of top Malaysian Offroad racer Jade Lim. The 22-year-old Team Associated driver is the reigning Malaysian 1:8 Offfroad Champion having wrapped up the title for a third time at the end of 2022. Joining VP-Pro will use their tyres and accessories as part of his 2023 1:8 Offroad programme.

STRC TRX-4M Machined Alu Threaded Shock Upgrade kit

New from ST Racing Concepts for the Traxxas TRX-4M 1:18 Crawler is this is CNC Machined Complete Shock Upgrade kit. The it includes threaded aluminium shock bodies, O-ring shock collars, lower shock caps and upper shock caps. The threaded bodies are of black anodised while the collars, lower/upper shock caps are anodised in colours to accentuate the looks of the shock kit. Just simply swap over the stock internal components and you will have a high-performance oil-filled shock set up for your TRX-4M. To complete that shock package, new CNC machined brass lower shock spring retainers add more weight to the lower parts of your TRX-4M while securely keeps the shock spring in place. IFMAR World Cup 1:8 Electric Buggy – Announcement

IFMAR has announced details of the first ever World Cup for 1:8 Electric Buggy. While 1:8 nitro has enjoyed World Championship status since 1986, the World Cup will be the first step for the electric category to become a World Championship category in 2025. The World Cup event will take place on September 22-24 and be hosted by the Club ACDB “OS BEIROES” at their 310m track in Guarda, Portugal. The track previously hosted the 2010 EFRA European 1:8 Nitro Buggy Championship when Reno Savoya took the third of his European titles. While taking place only one week after the 1:10 Offroad World Championships at Hobby Action in the USA, the 1:8 Electric Buggy World Cup is still expected to be well supported by the industry given the growing future importance of the category. WRC Racing GT4 Alu One Piece Diff Bulkhead Blocks

WRC Racing has released these new Aluminium One Piece Diff Bulkhead Blocks for its GT4 1:8 GT chassis. Made from 7075 T6 Aluminium with a black anodised finish, the bulkheads come in a front and rear option for the nitro powered GT4 while the front block is used at either end of the electric variant of the Italian manufacturers GT offering.

MIBO Electric Screwdriver

MIBO has added this Electric Screwdriver to its range of products as a handy tool to make assembling and disassembling RC car components quick and easy. It is compact and lightweight, which combined with a non-slip rubber grip results in really effortless handling. Forward and reverse buttons control a powerful electric motor, that provides consistent torque to drive screws into any material, including hard plastic, with precision and speed. Powerful neutral brake lets you tighten the screws manually to adjust the torque by feel, rather than by digital torque control. This also helps you loosen any stubborn screw, that needs a lot of force to come out. 3.6V 900mAh Li-Ion battery allows for extended use without the need for battery replacement. Its capacity is enough for many hours of common work, then it can be charged via included micro USB cable within 60 minutes. The screwdriver has a 6.35mm quick-release chuck, compatible with all kinds of bits that are suitable for different types of screws used in RC cars and elsewhere. The supplied MIBO tips are made of hard steel with a titanium coating with 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 5.5mm and 7.0mm bits available. The screwdriver body also contains a small LED worklight, that helps the visibility in tight spots.
