Factory Team RC8T4 +4mm Wheel Hexes

New from Team Associated’s optional parts brand Factory Team are these +4mm Wheel hexes for the RC8T4 1:8 Truggy. The new hexes let racers narrow the trackwidth 3mm per side (6mm total) from the kit RC8T4 hex adapters. The AE team found the +4 hex to be an advantage on the truggy rear for low traction with Richard Saxton using these parts in prototype form to win the 40+ Nitro Truggy Class at the 2024 Silver State Nitro Challenge in Las Vegas. In addition, the new hex pair comes with two of the new 17mm Grooved Wheel Hex Pins. These 17mm pins add extra security to the hex design and fit both buggy and truggy 17mm hex adapters.

1up Racing 40mm UltraLite Alu Cooling Fan | Shrouds

American RC accessories brand 1up Racing has introduced their new 40mm UltraLite Aluminium Cooling Fan along with 40mm UltraLite Fan Shroud options to match. New for 2025, our 40mm Fan utilises a high-torque motor that is less susceptible to stalling when placed close to the extremely high power rotors in today’s spec motors. ROAR has also updated their rulebook and 40mm fans can now be used in regional and national events in North America adopting ROAR rules! The UltraLite Cooling Fan sports a short 30mm cable with basic 2-pin connector that works with many speed controls. They also include a 200mm extension cable with JR connector should you want to plug it into your receiver or hard-wire the fan. Most mounting solutions are covered with included 2.5x6mm and 3x6mm screws.

Haberg confirmed for eSIC debut

Two time World Champion Alexander Hagberg is the latest driver to be confirmed for the Electric Singapore International Challenge (eSIC), the factory Xray driver set to make his debut at the third edition of race on July 12-13. A race that continues to establish itself as a key race on the international touring car calendar, 2025 will mark the first factory representation at the event which is the headed up by Singapore’s touring car racer Nicholas Lee together with Chhua Jookiah. Racing at the Marine Parade Radio Control Modellers Club track, the event has attracted official team entries from Mugen Seiki, Infinity, Awesomatix, Yokomo, ARC and Xpress and in 2025 adds both Axon, with Hayato Ishioka, and Xray whose challenge will be led by Hagberg. On the confirmation of his trip to Singapore, the Swede said, ‘Looking forward to racing in Singapore again after a few years! The eSIC has established itself as one of the most competitive Asian TC events. Can’t wait to be a part of it – and to meet both old & new friends as well as Xray customers and team drivers! See you in Singapore in July!’

Yokomo RS2.0 Optional Servo and Suspension Mounts

Yokomo has released two new option parts for their entry level Rookie Speed 1:10 Electric Touring car in the form of an Aluminium/Graphite servo mount and an Aluminium suspension mount set. The servo mount is a hybrid structure that enhances the steering response of the RS2.0. The stay connecting it to the chassis is made of aluminium, and a lightweight graphite plate is used on the upper side of the chassis to prevent excessive changes in the centre of gravity. The servo itself is firmly fixed to the chassis to increase steering response and improve line tracing accuracy in corners. The aluminium rear suspension mount, which also fits the previous RS1.0. is basically designed to have the same width as the standard one, but the rear rear suspension toe angle can be changed by interchanging the two types of bushings. The kit standard (3 degree) bushing is the centre bushing, and by swapping the orientation of the offset bushing, the toe angle can be selected between 2.5 and 3.5 degrees.

Team EAM batteries for Wahl

Team EAM has announced that 2023 TITC Open Brushless Champion Tim Wahl will use their batteries to power his touring car campaign. The German driver, who is also a multiple ETS podium finisher, will represent the America brand at both European and World Championship level. A driver renowned for his technical input having worked as a mechanic for Marc Rheinard and reigning Pro Stock World Champion Simon Lauter, on the Team EAM announcement he said, “Proud to join Team EAM! In addition to the pure performance of the products, the project itself is super exciting. I am looking forward to working with the team, bringing the brand to the next level. Kilic to lead Mugen Seiki challenge at Philippine Masters

Mugen Seiki’s Burak Kilic is to head the Japanese manufacturer’s challenge at the up coming Philippine Masters as the 2-time World Championship Finalist makes his debut at Asia’s biggest & most famous annual 1:8 Offroad event. Round 2 of the Cayote backed Asian Buggy Championships, the older of the well known Kilic racing brothers joins the already stacked line-up for the 13th edition of the race that includes no less than four IFMAR World Champions. Ahead of making the trip from Germany to the Circulo Verde Race Track in Manila for the April 30 -May 4th event, Kilic said, “I’m really looking forward to the Philippine Masters this year. Avid RC RC10B7 72T Direct Drive Pro Kit

US racing upgrade parts producer Avid Racing Concepts has released this 72T Direct Drive Pro Kit for Team Associated’s RC10B7 1:10 2WD buggy. The kit allows stock racers to remove the entire clutch assembly for conditions where the driver feels having less rotating mass and zero slip except from the differential is beneficial. This system is the lightest direct drive unit available today coming in at 6.45-grams with a 72T (2.62-grams with no spur). It includes two machined delrin 72T spurs that are lightweight at 3.32-grams and quiet due to the true teeth. The Spurs gears are also sold separately to upgrade the standard Triad Direct Drive.
