Ielasi Tuned GP3R23 .12 Engine

Ielasi Tuned has announced details of its new GP3R23 .12 1:10 Onroad engine.  The latest version of the GP3 is an upgrade of the previous version with some small improvements that have been developed and tested over the past few months.  A new engine backplate, a differently worked crankshaft and the new smaller & lighter cooling head with new graphics are the substantial differences of this new version.  The engine will be available from Friday 14th April with future engine presentations from World Champion Daniele Ielasi due in the coming days including the 1:8 GT specific GP5GTR23.

Bermudez Top Qualifier at Montpellier GP Brushless

Young French talent Rémy Bermudez will lead away the A-Mains at the Montpellier Brushless GP tomorrow after the Xray driver won the SuperPole battle from Marco Baruffolo to be declared Top Qualifier at the inaugural running of the event.  With the Nitro edition of the Montpellier Grand Prix holding the long standing honours of being the event to kickstart the annual outdoor buggy racing season in Europe, the first electric edition has attracted a strong international field with the Infinity of Italy’s Riccardo Berton topping the ranking after the four rounds of qualifying.  Topping Q2 & 3 he was followed the Tekno of fellow countryman Baruffolo, fastest in Q4, with Bermudez ending up third overall having topped the opening qualifier.  Two time European eBuggy Champion David Ronnefalk would take his Mayako to P4.  In Superpole Bermudez would be the only driver to record a 33-second lap topping the battle from Baruffolo.  The A-Mains will be run over four legs with each driver’s best three to count.

PSM TT02S Carbon Shock Towers

Following the release of their aluminium shock tower for Tamiya’s TT02, the German parts & accessories manufacturer PSM has released carbon shock towers for the TT02S version of the 1:10 touring car chassis.  Machined from 3.0mm carbon fibre, the new front and rear towers featuring refined suspension geometry for use with Tamiya SSBB shocks and offering an alternative setup solution.

RC Maker A800R Geocarbon parts

RC Maker has released a number of Geocarbon parts for Awesomatix’s recently released A800R.  Replacing the standard plastic parts, their brand new GeoCarbon Battery Mount features great looks, adjustability and durability.  The hooks are manufactured from extremely durable 4mm Thick Carbon Fibre, with a 2.5mm spacer underneath to add more adjustability, as well as added hook height for improved battery security.  The spacer features slots which allow movement under the hook, to set the correct amount of movement for your specific battery.  It also allows a very small (1-2mm) tuning window for moving your battery back or forwards for fine tuning weight bias.  The Hooks feature 7075 Black Aluminium pressed threaded inserts which ensure its rigid attachment to the car, and allow the attachment of the battery swivel posts.

Protoform ARRMA Ford Mustang

Protoform has released a 1:7 NASCAR Ford Mustang for ARRMA owners.  In 2022, NASCAR completely refreshed the look of their cars to add more details of their street counterparts and now Protoform has captured all the details of the 1:1 Cup Series Mustang for owners of the Infraction and Limitless chassis.  Officially licensed by both NASCAR and Ford, this body comes clear so that you can paint it up in your favourite NASCAR driver’s scheme or create your own with the included numbers and sponsor decals.  It includes a full set of detailed graphics such as windshield frames, sponsor logos, and side skirts.  The body is made in the USA from durable 1.5mm thick high-quality polycarbonate with paint-then-peel overspray film.  Also included are a custom add-on front splitter and rear spoiler with mounting hardware to complete the super-scale look.

Pro-Line Reaction & Front Runner drag racing tyres

Destiny RX-10F 3.0 optional balance weights

Following on from the recent release of their RX-10F 3.0 Touring Car, Japanese manufacturer Destiny has released two new optional balance weights.  A 30g front bumper weight and a two piece 60g under front differential weight are offered.  It makes adjustment on front weight distribution for different track condition and tire compound grip.  Using both weights is best suited to high traction asphalt or carpet track when using high grip soft compound tyres.
