JConcepts NC 1/10 State Championships – Announcement

The JConcepts North Carolina 1/10 Off Road State Championships will be held on the 28th of June at The Warehouse RC Complex in Haw River, North Carolina. The race will be held in 1/10th electric classes such as 2WD Modified Short Course, 2WD 17.5 Short Course, 4WD Short Course, 2WD Modified Buggy, 4WD Buggy and Modified Stadium Truck. The 2 day event sees practice on Friday June 27th and racing on Saturday June 28th. Sign up is now under way on rcsignup.com.

Patrick Hofer sweeps Swiss off-road nats Rd3

The 3rd round of the Swiss electric off-road nationals was held at the Umwelten Arena in Spreitenbach on a medium-bite carpet track with 120 drivers in attendance. Team Associated/Reedy’s Patrick Hofer swept both the 2WD and 4WD Modified Buggy classes after taking the TQ in the 4WD class and starting from the 2nd place on the grid in 2WD. In 4WD Patrick was sidelined on the podium by Milan Steiner (Team Durango/Team Orion) and Peter Forster (Yokomo/Nosram), while Nico Schmid (Yokomo/Hope Modellbau) and Gregi Gassmann completed in the podium in the 2WD class.

JConcepts RC10 Worlds Fin titanium turnbuckle set

JConcepts introduces a stylish, durable and lightweight alternative Titanium turnbuckle kit for the popular Team Associated RC10 Worlds Car vehicle. The base of the shafts design is centred around a .143″ titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3mm thread base design which accepts standard JC and AE ball-cup configurations. The 8-piece set is produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.

Spider yellow tyre additive

The new Spider Grip yellow tyre additive is designed for the use with rubber tyres on asphalt and to give a faster start to a qualification run. Thinner than most oil based additives the high grade oil used has been chosen specifically to allow tyres to get to temperature as quickly as possible and to enhance the natural traction of the rubber.

EFRA GT-Rally Eurocup – Announcement

During the EFRA “Flat Chassis” European Championships that will be held from the 1st to 3rd August in Gubbio, Italy, a GT-Rally Eurocup for 1/8th scale GT and Rally chassis will be held. Being an open event, the race only requires a national licence to participate and it is understood that the race is being held to determine the need of an official EFRA 1/8th GT class.

Rally Game Class cars are powered by an internal combustion engine with piston and glow plug. Transmission can be on 2 or 4 wheels. They are based on 1/8th Off-road cars, with some changes to adapt them to an on-road track.

Serpent SRX2 aluminium idler gear

Serpent introduce a 27T aluminium idler gear for the Spyder 2WD platform. Machined from aluminium and coming hard-coated for increased durability the gear is a direct replacement for the stock composite gear in the SRX2 RM and MM and Spyder SC truck.

Xray Challenge Korea – Annoncement

Xray Korea invites all Xray drivers to take part at the Xray Challenge Korea. Taking place at the Kirina Circuit on the 1st of June, the race sees the running of electric and nitro 1/10th classes along a 1/8th nitro on-road class. Xray’s Alexander Hagberg will be present for support. More information can be found here.
