Reds Racing G4 PRO 1:8 Brushless Motors

Reds Racing has introduced their new Gen4 Pro Brushless Motor range for 1:8 categories. Gen4 Motor efficiency has been heavily improved, effectively reducing temperature increase. Their main objective was to optimise motor structure in order to reduce motor temperature of about 20% and we achieved it. Thanks to new design and materials the Reds Gen4 Brushless motors are simply more reliable and efficient compared to the older versions. Another important feature is the new dustproof design, specifically developed for off-road applications when dust and dirt could affect motor performance and duration. Featuring an extremely high level of accuracy and quality, every motor is hand-tested and hand-inspected to achieve the best product standards. Capable of both sensored and sensorless operations, the new line is ideal for 1:8 Buggy, Truggy, GT and On-Road categories and is available in three KV options of 1900KV, 2100KV and 2500KV.

Cavalieri & Maifield with the wins at Kinwald Klassic

The third annual Kinwald Klassic took place over the weekend at Hobby Action RC Raceway, Arizona, with Ryan Cavalieri and Ryan Maifield taking the wins in buggy.  In qualifying it was Team Losi Racing’s Cavalieri who took the TQ for both buggy classes.  In the three rounds of qualifying he posted the fastest 2WD time in Q2 and fastest 4WD time in Q3.  With Team Yokomo’s Maifield second fastest in both it was Tom Rinderknecht who would completed the top 3 each time.  With all three A-Main results to count, Cavalieri took the overall win with a win, a second & a win with Maifield, the A2 winner, finishing second overall with 1up Racing’s Matthew Gonzales completing the podium. In 2WD, Maifield took the opening leg but was only fourth in A2.  With another win in A3 he was the overall victor ahead of Gonzales and Rinderknecht with Cavalieri having to settle for 4th despite his A2 win, his retirement from A1 meaning he had to carry the 11th place points. With the Kinwald Klassic a race set-up to remember legend of the sport Brian Kinwald, the biggest winner on the day was charity and the Crohns Colitis Foundation who received a cheque from Hobby Action for $4,500. 1up Racing Forged Carbon Fibre Pit Board

1up Racing has released this Forged Carbon Fibre Pit Board.  At 390mm x 490mm it is the perfect size to work on just about everything with Ryan Cavalieri loving it for his 1:8 Buggies and Truggies. It’s perfect for Joe Pillars’ 1:10 Buggies and Randy Caster’s Touring Cars. At 5mm thick the Forged Carbon Fibre Pit Board is rigid and won’t sag or conform to uneven surfaces even with heavy cars. It features rounded corners and is finished with chamfers on top & bottom so there are no sharp edges and is topped off with a bright white 1up logo. Forged Carbon Fibre sheets typically have a lot of surface variations but 1up were able to identify the source of the issue and worked hard with their carbon fibre professionals to make 1up Pit Boards as flat as possible. Our production boards are the result of over a year and a half of testing multiple samples and while the surface may still show some variations, they are small and won’t affect getting a properly set up car. The 1up Racing Forged Carbon Fiber Pit Board is as much a status symbol as it is a pit board, and it’s only available at Pick1up.com.
