Team Bomber AK12 front suspension arm support plate

Team Bomber has released this optional front suspension arm support plate for their AK12 Series 1:12 chassis. This 1.0mm plate is mounted on the upper side of the front suspension arm to alter and strengthen the carbon lower arm so the twisting of the carbon lower arm and warping during driving are suppressed and strengthened to change the handling characteristics. Depending on the track conditions and layout of the circuit, you can easily apply subtle set-up tweaks to the handling “with plates” and “without plates”.  If you insert more than 1mm of spacing between the front suspension mount and the suspension arm, use the included 3×10 screws to the arm mounting.

Zak Smith wins Round 5 of British Championship

Zak Smith has won the penultimate round of the British Electric Touring Car Championship at West London.  The Schumacher driver claimed his second consecutive win of the season when he beat Top Qualifier Ben Cosgrove and championship leader Kyle Branson.  Qualifying second, Smith opened the triple A-Mains with a big winning margin over Awesomatix’ Cosgrove and Peter Eagles with Branson’s Xray fourth.  Branson, winner of Rounds 1 & 3 of the championship, would take A2 with Smith only fifth.  With it all on the line in A3, Cosgrove would convert his TQ starting position into a win but with Smith second and Branson back in 7th, it was enough for Smith to add to his Mendip victory from a month earlier.  Cosgrove would end up with best finish of the season with second while Branson completed the Round 5 podium.
