Xray have released new front & rear roll centre spacers for the X4 for placement below the lower suspension arms. Allowing quick, precise & hassle-free ride height adjustment they improve steering when used in front and improve rotation when used in rear. Xray claim the also improve graphite durability in crashes when used in the front.

OfficinaRC have added these new tungsten Smart Shims to their existing aluminium and brass Smart Shim offerings. Obsessed with quality and attention to detail, OfficinaRC say they have added the Tungsten version as a follow up to the successful introduction of the aluminium smart shim. OfficinaRC have applied a laser cut on the side of the shim in order that you can immediately recognise its size so you will no longer have any doubts and no longer need a caliper. The material used, tungsten, plays a fundamental role, increasing the weight by 8 time over the Alu Smart Shim so at the lowest point it can consequently lower the centre of gravity and make the car even more stable. Measurements are defined by solid lines with each line indicating millimetres. Offered as a pack of 8 shims they are available in 2 sizes: 3x6x1mm and 3x6x2mm. Italian engine manufacturer Picco have released a new oval shaped venturi for use with .21 sized engines. First seen as part of their recent P3TT Limited edition buggy engine release, the venturi is now available for use in all engines. The ‘Oval’ venturi offers a progressive opening: the surface of a horizontal ellipse evolving more gently than the round opening of a regular restrictor. The result is that on a low traction track the engine has smoother acceleration for improved drivability and fuel consumption.

Factory Team have released new LTC (low torque capacity) gear sets for the RC10B74 series buggies. Available in metal and plastic variants, these gear sets increase the drivability and traction of the Team Associated B74. The new design of high tooth count and smaller teeth allows for smoother differential action that won’t lock onpower. These gear sets come with the gears and shims needed for one differential. Test drivers report that with the new LTC gear sets installed in the diffs, the car tracks straight out of turns while allowing the car to rotate more freely in tight turns.

Sworkz have release this new Arched-Bridge-System. It was originally on the our S350 BK1 series arms, but they have now designed it to be changeable. The unique Arched-Bridge can be installed on or removed from the rear arms. They can be fitted to all track conditions even for the GT on road series. The conversion kit also includes new rear longer arms with a higher capacity shock system. The end result was the 2022 Euros TQ position and 3 Sworkz buggies in the A main finals.

New from Xray for their XB2, XT2 and SCX are these Alu steering block graphite extensions. They allow for easy Ackermann position adjustment for fine-tuning on all surfaces and track conditions. The set of two extensions (left & right) is available in three options. The 1-slot extension gives most of steering and aggressivity from range of akerman plates. The 2-slot extension turns outside wheels less, makes the car easier to drive, less aggressive and increases cornering speed. The 3-slot extension turns outside wheels even less than 1 and 2, makes the car easier to drive, less aggressive and increases cornering speed.

Mother Nature in Florida this year meant the finale of the Florida State Electric Auto Racing Association (FSEARA) onroad series concluded with three rounds of racing. A strong 80 entries travelled to the final round at Coral Spring RC Club with Saturday’s practice filled with plenty of laps and tons of traction until an afternoon rainout. On Sunday, the weather looked bad once again, however Chris Crowder on the mic kept the program running smoothly and 2 rounds of qualifying rounds and the mains were able to beat the weather.
The highlight battle of the weekend was 17.5 TC. With points leader Dave staying out of this race, the local track addict Furman Walker running his Awesomatix was able to dominate in qualifier. The only driver to run 27 laps in this class, it was so fast, he would have landed himself 3rd overall in Mod.
