Tekno RC NB48 2.1 4wd competition nitro buggy

The Tekno RC NB48 2.0 has remained a customer favourite all over the world over the passed 3 years due to its incredible rough track handling, extreme durability, ease of maintenance, and innovative design features. Tekno RC wanted to take the NB48 platform to the next level, and knew it was time for a major upgrade. In typical Tekno RC fashion, the NB48 2.1 had to offer exceptional value while also including never-before-seen features. Of course, they had to include several already released hop-up items, but we also needed to push 1/8th buggy design to its limits. The team has been testing individual components of the new buggy for quite some time, but on his first outing with the full production NB48 2.1, Jared Tebo was able to place it on the podium at the 2022 Southern Nationals and on its second outing, Jared Wiggins took the win at the 2022 MidAmerica Outdoor Visions race.

JConcepts S2 B6.4 bodyshell

Dubbed the S2, the new JConcepts shell rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance. With 2015 IFMAR Championship credibility backing this design, it’s an easy choice. The S2 is a performer straight out of the package, with the Carpet, Turf rear wings to help deliver results on any racing circuit. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering. A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents which can be used to relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Cut lines are included on the shell to neatly finish around the chassis, steering, and transmission area of the B6.4 vehicles.

JConcepts pre-mounted Nessi tires

JConcepts have announced that their Nessi tire is now available as a premounted option. The pre mount includes open cell, medium inserts for plush control, mounted on Mono wheels available in bright white and florescent yellow. The Nessi tyre shares styling cues from its successful brother, the Lockness. Racing on artificial surfaces require a lot of stability and forward-bite and the JC design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new tyre brings a new 3D blended pin-size, pin-separation and a light-weight and low-profile carcass. Designed in the industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, the Nessi is very versatile and has shown to work in many natural and artificial conditions. The semi-circle protrusions, unique to the Lockness and now the Nessi are included in the centre section of the tyre and on the sidewall area. These details are important and the low semi-circles improves side-bite but also minimise grip-rolling instances associated with normal pins.

A well-known track from many ENS races in the past, and this time the electric elite of the ETS stopped in Austria to crown six race winners in the different racing classes at the Euro Touring Series.
