KM H-K1 EvoII option parts

KM release new option parts for the H-K1 EvoII chassis. Available are left and right 2 speed layshaft stand-offs and an aluminium brake post. The stand-offs are CNC-machined from aluminium and incorporate a plastic bearing insert to improve the seat and of bearing and to add additional smoothness to the drive train. The brake post is of a new design with an additional tongue to ensure centred actuation of the brake pad for increased brake response. The parts are a direct fit to the current Evo version and have to be used as bundle.

SMP Ten-SCTE titanium wheel axles

Swiss company SMP Racing Parts have released these new titanium CV axles for the Losi Ten-SCTE 1/10th 4WD Short Course truck. These super light weight parts not only look great but add extra strength for maximum durability.

Team Associated TC4 Club Racer kit

Team Associated release the TC4 Club Racer kit. The 1/10 scale touring car comes as pre-assembled race roller, features a 4WD shaft-driven drive train, 22 precision ball bearings, rear ball differential with lightweight outdrives, front spool, lightweight CVD drive shafts and lightweight oil-filled shock absorbers. Also included are a machined aluminium motor mount and lightweight front bumper. The car is ideal for VTA classes and as spec touring car for club racing purposes. Not included are wheels, tyres and a 190mm body shell.

Brunei annual national EP race report

The RC organisation of Brunei, PEMKAR, recently held an electric on-road race in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. The annual race marks the start of racing season in this region. The venue for this year’s race was the Youth Center Hall that had an indoor carpet track laid out. Some 50 racers joined the race in four classes. The premier class was the Open modified touring car that saw attracted the most racers. The other classes were novice touring car, M-type chassis and Drift. Spec Sweep 32 QTS tyres were used for both touring car classes as well as spec Hobbywing Justock 11.5T combos for the novice TC class.

Rino Lino & Patricio Concha win Pacific Cup 2012

The Pacific Cup is a race, in Lima Peru, that has been going on for the last few years and continues to grow each year. This year over 70 racers from all over the World to include the USA, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Germany and of course Peru attended the event. The race is held on a permanent track next to the Ocean was even broadcasted in the local media and therefore attracted over 2,000 spectators. Because of the good experience made at the recent races the organisers also plan on applying for the 2014 200mm sedan World Championships.

FTW DEX210 carbon rear shock tower

FTW Racing Components announce the release of a carbon fibre rear shock tower for Team Durango’s DEX210 buggy. Eliminating the flex of the OEM piece and being exponentially stronger the new part also improves the airflow to the wing due to the lower centre section. All factory mounting locations and adjustments are retained and the wing mount holes are countersunk for a sleeker look.

Tresrey DEX210 & 410 option parts

Tresrey introduce new option parts for Team Durango’s DEX210 and 410 line of off-road vehicles. First up is a layshaft and slipper hub set for the 210 that allows the use of standard spur gears such as the ones from Team Associated, Tamiya, and generally every spurgear with a 4.8mm centre hole. The part allows for a wider gearing range compared to the stock TD spurgears.

Alpe Adria Cup 2012 – Announcement

The organisers of the 2012 Alpe Adria Cup have been in touch to announce their new series. Taking place between April and October, the 4 round series sees races in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Italy and features the motto ‘fun, fair racing and friendship’. The series will use a handout tire for both classes giving the same conditions for everyone and helping prevent the use of tire additives. The tires will only be allowed to be put on in parc ferme and there are a limited number of tires for each driver during the event to keep costs down.
