Duratrax 12-tip multi-driver tool

The Duratrax 12-tip multi-driver tool stores six double-ended tool bits in the handle and does the work of a dozen different drivers with just one handy tool. The machined, anodized aluminum handle is hex-shaped to resist rolling and improve grip. The end cap rotates to select the preferred bit. Bit length is adjustable, so the modeler can shorten it for more torque or lengthen it for greater reach.

Exotek F1 Ultra F103 conversion

Exotek have introduced the F1 Ultra, the next evolution in their F1 line of chassis for the F103. Based on the hugely successful F1R, the F1ultra has been refined for the Tamiya F103 and benefits greatly from its wider track and shorter wheelbase and works equally well on foam or rubber tires. Features include link type rear pod for exceptional rear grip, optimized for use with 7.4v shorty packs, inline or laterally, for a more compact and lighter car and the bottom plate only design helps generate more steering response. This coupled with the increased rear traction creates an overall better handling car. A unicrank steering assembly gives smoother steering and a lower center of gravity at the nose to reduce traction roll.

East Coast Carpet regionals report

Last weekend the East Coast Carpet regionals were held at the MRH Raceway in Baltimore/MD. The race unofficially began on Friday. Racers started pouring in before the store even opened to try and get as much practice as possible. Friday evening laid host to a small club race so that some out-of -owners could get acquainted with the track and be fresh for the Saturday marathon of racing. The real fun started on Saturday, practice began promptly at 8am and the track filled immediately with cars from all the offered classes; 13.5 WGT, Stock TC, Stock 12th, and F1. The goal of the race was to provide a warm up for the carpet nationals in Texas, so the class structure followed what ROAR had laid out. This structure proved to be popular, as all the classes were sufficiently filled with a wide talent range. 3 qualifiers were ran in traditional format and the mains concluded around 11PM. Racers had a great time, some visiting us from up to a 6 hours drive away. We all are looking forward to next years event, and hope to make it bigger and better than the last.
