Carsten Keller joins Kyosho Germany

Kyosho Germany is proud to announce the signing of German Truggy National champion Carsten Keller. Running for Losi/Horizon the previous years, Carsten was looking for a new challenge and is joining the reigning world champion team with national team mates like Timo Engelstätter and two time German national champion Tim Bremicker. Carsten will compete in all major races like the Neo12, the Euros and World Championship as well as the German national championship. His rides will be powered by Team Orion engines and ground contact will be provided by AKA tires. Carsten had the following to say about his new deal:

First I would like to thank Losi, Horizon Hobby UK, Horizon Hobby Germany and especially David Spashett and Sascha Bauman for supporting me the past years. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. But time goes by and I am ready for a new experience. I am happy that Kyosho Germany put their trust in me and I will do my best to represent the brands and achieve as good as possible results in the upcoming races.

JQ aluminium rear hubs & soft bladders

JQ aluminium rear hubs & soft bladders

JQ Products have released these new CNC machined aluminium rear hubs which come in gold or black and are stronger and more tunable than the stock plastic ones. The upper link holes are one row higher than on the plastic hub, so the 2nd highest row is the same as the plastic hub top row. The new top row makes THECar smoother in corners, and it seems to keep a more consistent arc around corners. Also, the hub requires 4 plastic spacers to fit in the arm, with 2 in front, and 2 behind being the stock position. This means it can be moved 2mm further forwards for even more rear traction, or backwards for high traction tracks, compared with the plastic hub. JQ have also released new soft bladders for the shocks which give THECar more traction and makes the suspension feel smoother. The shocks are also easier to build with this bladder.
