One of 1:5 scale racing’s most successful manufacturers, MCD Racing has announced plans to enter the 1:8 GT Onroad market with its own electric car. The Turkish based manufacturer who are the reigning European Large Scale Touring Car Champions with Dario Veseli posted the announcement on their social media. Together with an image of sketches of an 1:8 GT Onroad chassis they wrote, ‘Exciting news! Over the past few months, we have been working on a new project: developing a new 1:8 scale GT-E 4WD car. Team Brood Racing has announced this Carbon Fibre Transmission Brace Kit designed specifically for the Team Associated B7 2WD Buggy. …has added a -1° Aluminium HD Suspension Mount C to its expanding line-up of premium option for the Team Associated RC10B7 and RC10B7D buggy. Compared to the standard suspension mount, this mount is slightly wider and reduces the rear axle toe-in by 1° per side, allowing for 0° toe-in configuration. Unlike the B6.4 version, where a similar suspension mount was offered from RDRP as a D Suspension mount, this is now a C suspension mount. Attracting a number of international factory team drivers, it was Xray’s Shin Sawada who took the big win at the Hobbywing Cup which took place at the Shanghai International Model Auto Racing Arena (SIMARA) in China over the weekend.
