Andy Moore dominates 2011 TITC

2006 Touring car World Champion Andy Moore has won this year’s annual TITC race in Bangkok, Thailand held at the awesome new RC City venue. The factory Hot Bodies driver dominated proceedings from practice, through to qualifying, taking 4 of the 6 qualifying heats to line up on pole position for the A-main ahead of Shin Adachi, Jilles Groskamp, Marc Rheinard and Atsushi Hara. In the finals Andy was untouchable and took all three A-mains in dominant fashion to win from Tamiya driver Jilles Groskamp in 2nd and Hot Bodies team mate Atsushi Hara in 3rd.

Peck & Korn win Short Course at Nitro Challenge

Team Losi’s Casey Peck and A-Main Hobbies driver Marty Korn took respective victories in 4WD and 2WD at the 12th running of ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge in Arizona. A tough track for the 1:10 electric trucks, having been designed to cater for the large 1:8 Buggy entry, Peck took his Novak powered SCTE to victory in 4wd after a close battle with the Hobao of Top Qualifier Jeremy Kortz with Kevin Gahan’s Losi completing the podium. In 2WD Korn took his Proline equipped Associated SC10 to victory over Peck.

Tebo wins thrilling 'Dirt' battle

Jared Tebo has won what can only be described as one of the best off-road races of all time. Starting the Truggy A-Main from the TQ position the Kyosho driver saw off intense challenges from Ty Tessmann and Ryan Maifield to take a very popular win at the 12th running of the ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge. The 45-minute final saw the best in the business put on a thrilling show that kept the watching crowd in suspense throughout with the leaders never separated by more that a few car lengths.

Tebo does Dirt Nitro Challenge TQ double

Jared Tebo will start the Buggy final at the 12th running of ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge from pole position after putting in a carbon copy performance of yesterday when he wrapped up the Top Qualifier honours for Truggy.  The US Champion improved his morning time by over 7 seconds to top the time sheets for Q2 from Ty Tessmann to make it the perfect weekend so far for the Kyosho team driver.

Tebo carries form through to Buggy

Team Kyosho’s Jared Tebo has picked up where he left off in Truggy yesterday with a TQ run in the opening round of qualifying for the Buggy class at ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge. The only driver to record ten laps, the US Champion also set the fastest lap but said he pushed a little too hard in the later part of the run resulting in a mistake that cost him 5 seconds on his penultimate lap.

Incorporating  a 7075 T6 alloy centre and uniquely designed heavy duty replaceable Delrin cups with integrated sleeves, this system eliminates all unwanted backlash offering great performance. The added bonus for the TC6 is that the blades are no longer necessary.
