Italian company Capricorn RC have released a special limited edition LAB-C01 chassis to commemerate their winning of last year’s European Championships in Sweden. Limited to just 100 pieces, the kit includes kevlar pulleys, plastic bumper plate & lateral brace, in place of carbon, a front sway bar kit, long life belt, red shock springs and HLD diff pins. Pro-Line soft SC closed cell inserts

While at the Dirt Nitro Challenge we were given a sneak look at the soon to be released soft SC closed cell inserts. After extensive testing with Pro Short Course drivers like Ryan Cavalieri, they found that a softer insert is desirable in racing conditions. Like all of Pro-Line’s closed cell foam, this insert is ultra-durable, water-proof and shaped to exactly match the profile of the tires.

Tebo secures Truggy TQ honours at DNC

Jared Tebo is the Top Qualifier for the Truggy class at the ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge having secured the honour by backing up his opening qualifying performance with another TQ run in the second. The US Truggy Champion once again headed a Kyosho 1-2 at the top the time sheets improving his time by 6 seconds while team-mate Cody King set a new fastest lap time of 44.399 on his way to second.

Xceed have released their update Kruzer 1/10th 200mm bodyshell, called the V2. Italian designed, its new rear wing design and wider rear wheel arches offer more downforce and stability, while a steeper nose/grill section gives more steering. Made from 0.75mm thick high quality polycarbonate material this EFRA homologated (2044) shell comes supplied with masking sheet.

Vega Elite TRF201 2WD race conversion

Having brought you details on the first two releases from the new series of Vega Elite 2WD race conversions, another very similar conversion is now available, this time for the Tamiya TRF201 buggy. As with the other conversions it features a CNC machined aerospace 7075 alloy tub chassis & gearbox, motor plate heat sink, rear shock tower, bodyshell and more. This new conversion changes the weight distribution of the car, allowing it to jump more level & massively helps in-air control and powered landings.

CSO have produced these front main bearing blocks for the Mugen MRX-5. Made from high quality 7075 T6 aluminium, they are black anodised and offer more strength and stiffness than the original version, as well as being better able to resist tweak.

Giving you another on road gas race option in Italy for the weekend of the 12 and 13th of March, the organisers of the Trophy Shepherd race were in touch to promote their event. Held at the Miniautodromo Mesero, this race is open to both 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale 200mm classes and as well as attracting some top drivers such as Daniele Ielasi, it will be the first European race for new Shepherd signing Ronald Volker.

Xray re-sign Eric Dankel for 2 more years

Xray have announced the re-signing of German driver Eric Dankel. A three-time German National Champion, Eric is a very versatile all round driver, winning those titles in both electric and gas sedan. Eric had this to say:
