Speedpassion have released some new items, including this optional heat sink for their new Competition 3.0 brushless motor. Made from lightweight aluminium it helps dissipate the heat from the motor and also has the ability to mount a 30mm cooling fan to further aid the cooling process. Available in black, silver, orange, purple and red. Also new from Speedpassion is their new line of high current AWG wire. Sold in 1 meter lengths in black, red, and a set of blue / orange / yellow, it is available in both 12 and 14 AWG.

New from Serpent for their 960 and 966 chassis’, comes 2 new aluminium pulleys. Available in 16T and 25T versions, they have been hard-anodized, engraved with the tooth number and come complete with the grub-screw. These lower friction aluminium pulleys ensure that less dust and dirt will attach to the metal, which keeps the drivetrain smooth.

Austrian Gas On-road Titles decided

The 5th and final round of the Austrian 1/8th and 1/10th scale on road Nationals has been run at MAV Aigen, and with a win for Daniel Tomaschko the 1/8th scale series managed to have 5 different winners as well as 5 different top qualifiers throughout the season. In the 1/8th scale category it was Mugen Novarossi driver Michael Klausner that took the title, which due to his engine going lean meant he lost 3 laps and ended the race in 2nd, but it was enough to secure the title. Young Slovenian driver Mihelic Nejc took 2nd in the series. In the 1/10th scale TOP class it was Gerhard Kandelhardt that took his 5th win of the year for a perfect record that secured him the title, while in the Sports class, 4th place in the last race was enough for Christian Bartacek to take the crown ahead of 13 year old Kevin Eggerstorfer.  Local 17 year old drier Stefan Eichbauer took the race win in the final leg.

In addition to the version released earlier for the Kyosho V-One RRR, KM Racing have come out with these new battery trays for the Xray NT1 and Mugen MTX-4. Made from brass, the tray brings weight to the lowest and most central point on the car, which not only helps increase chassis rigidity but also helps stop the car from traction rolling in high grip conditions. Machined with 2 grooves for tape to mount the battery, it sports the KM Racing logo engraved on the bottom.

Alienpower have announced the release of their new Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy. This 1/8th scale chassis features a newly designed C-hub steering system that has the king pin axis extend to the wheel center which claims to improve steering performance. There is also a newly developed suspension system with twin adjustable rear suspension modes for flexible driving mode & smooth driving mode, while the car’s narrow solid aluminium chassis has a centralized design for quicker steering and faster response. Supplied with 16mm big bore shocks, the car has a an optional mechanical brake for accurate braking and better control in the air.

European Pan Series - Announcement

The organisers of the Xceed backed European Pan Series, Markus Mobers from Germany & Vesa Yli from Finland, were in contact to announce their new 1/12th scale series. Created to promote racing with pan type cars, this series hopes to allow this category grow bigger and stronger and is a response to the growing popularity of the 1/12 scale class together with its bigger brother World GT. The 2009/10 EPS series kicks of in Germany in October (2-4), before moving to Belgium in November for round 2 and finally to Holland for the season finale in January 2010.
