CSO Racing Velox V10 chassis & pullies

New from CSO Racing for the Shepherd Velox V10 is this new chassis plate and range of pullies. First up the chassis, which has been CNC machined from a 3.1mm thick slab of 7075 T6 aluminium and further hard coated for increased durability. Next up is a full range of drive pullies for the V10, including the 18T, 19T, 20T, 25 & 27T, which are also made from 707 T6 aluminium and hard coated, and feature holes in the side walls to allow dirt and debris to come out of the teeth, increasing the life of both the pulley and the belt.

Capricorn RC Hard Tuned engines

Capricorn RC have announced their new Hard Tuned engine treatment which they have applied to Novarossi, Sirio, O.S. and Picco motors. All engines are hand tuned to maximize performance and give the end user a top level engine. Internally the engines feature a hand worked crankcase to reduce the mixture turbulence flowing into the combustion chamber, while the liner has also been polished and hand worked. The crankshaft has been worked and balanced to increase high end rpm and a better bottom rise and polished manually to give better mixture flow.

Picco Micromotori in Italy have released this new competitively priced 3.5cc competition buggy engine, the P3-R Evo Turbo. This .21cc motor sports a 14mm crankshaft, hard chrome liner and CNC machined billet piston. In addition a ‘knife edge’ aerodynamic connecting rod, Swiss ball bearings and a composite slide carburettor, supplied with a 6mm and 7mm venturi, complete the package. Available now.

Losi 8ight-T 2.0 V2 rear shock tower

New from Losi for the 8ight-T 2.0 truggy, comes this V2 rear shock tower. Featuring an additional outer shock mount hole, when used this new shock location increases forward traction, improves jumping and bump absorption. This shock tower also features a new set of camber link holes that will allow the chassis to roll with increasing corner speed.

Corally RDX Phi 09 straight front & rear wishbones

Corally have released new straight front and rear wishbones for their RDX Phi 09. The rear wishbones are designed to allow the mounting of the shocks and anti roll bar on the front side of the rear wishbones. Also the shock positions on the rear wishbones can also be positioned in between the standard positions just by turning the wishbone. Designed to fit onto the current Phi chassis, the wishbones are sold in pairs.

Kamibayashi crowned 2009 F1RCGP Champion

Kamibayashi crowned 2009 F1RCGP Champion

Have followed the 2009 F1RCGP series in Japan throughout the year, we were sent the fine overall results from the season. In the end it was team Alex Racing’s Hiroshi Kamibayashi driving the Tamiya F103 Zen that took the overall title ahead of Tech F125 drivers Takatoshi Morita and Hideki Tamura in 2nd and 2rd. In the constructors title it was Futable F1 Racing, whose drivers Takatoshi Morita, Kimura Shinya and David Tse held them seal the title. Next seasons F1RCGP series will have 11 rounds, with the finale set to take place in Hong Kong.
