Having raced for his new sponsors at the KO Grand Prix last weekend, Thunder Power RC have confirmed the signing of Paul Lemieux to their team, bringing with him 13 years of RC racing experience. Among his many career highlights Paul currently holds seven on-road championship titles in electric touring car, electric modified touring car, nitro sedan and many other classes. I joined Team Thunder Power RC after seeing how they and their products have performed in RC racing over the past year. Knowing TPRC’s history and stronghold in the RC aircraft and helicopter LiPo battery and charger markets, I know they are going to continue to bring new technology, knowledge and experience to the car market. With my experience and passion for racing and joining Team TPRC, I will have the ability to test and race using the latest in LiPo battery and charger technology. I am excited about the future of TPRC and am proud to represent them at all major US and International electric/LiPo events.

Steven Hartson signs to run JConcepts

Having recently signed for Team Associated, Steven Hartson has joined the JConcepts team to race their full line of tires, wheels, bodies and accessories. Although Steven has been a team member and running the JConcepts 1/10th scale line-up for quite some time, this announcement comes as Hartson brings his skills to the 1/8th division. Hartson brings the out-right speed comparable to the top electric racers in the world, but as of yet has not had the opportunities to showcase his talents in the 1:8 scene. With multiple A-Main finishes in 1:10 National Championships and major International events, Hartson looks to transfer these results to the ultra- competitive U.S. 1:8 scale scene. Local to Southern California, he’s sure to get his feet wet fast with weekly competitors such as Ryan Cavalieri, Cody King, Adam Drake, Mike Truhe, Ryan Lutz and so on.
