DE Racing Tank Pull kits & Tire spikes

DE Racing Tank Pull kits & Tire spikes

DE Racing, best known for their skid plates, have released two new products with their tank pull kits and tire spikes. The tank pull kit is a sleek, simple and truly universal fueling solution for your nitro powered vehicle. No more playing ‘tank pull engineer’ only to end up with an unrefined look or using a ridged plastic loop that’s a snag away from emptying your tank. Available in multiple colours, they are easy to install and allow your pit man a strong grip to open your tank lid. Also new in both buggy and truggy tire versions, are these new tire spikes, which are a simple and effective way to keep up to 4 tires securely kept together for transport or storing. Also available in a wide range of colours.

The 2009 NitroCross World Finals was once again held at ‘The Nitro Pit’ in Wittman, Arizona. There would be two heats of 15 drivers for the Invitational Classes. The first heat race consisted of 20 laps and the top 4 drivers in each heat would transfer directly to the A-Main. The Semi’s would be run later in the day for those drivers that didnt transfer and would also be a 20 lap race. The top 3 drivers in each heat would then transfer to the A-Main. At the end of the day was the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) where both heats of the remaining drivers would be put together for a 15 lap race. The Invitational Truggy Main Event would be run first. At the start of the tone, Ryan Cavalieri got a great start and was up to 3rd by the end of the first lap. Cavalieri then began to put in fast lap after lap to catch up to the leaders. At the halfway point in the race, RC was now leading and beginning to put some distance on the rest of the field. Cavalieri crossed the finish line first to take home his first win of the weekend and $5,000.00. The last race of the day was the Invitational Buggy Main Event. Jared Tebo qualified 1st overall with his Team Orion powered Kyosho MP9. After the first lap was complete, it was once again Cavalieri getting a great start and in 2nd place just behind the leader. Cavalieri then took over the lead and a few laps later and drove away from the field. With a few laps to go in the race, RC then put it on cruise control to take the win and another $5,000.00.
