Infinity IF14-2 FWD balancing bumper weight

For the Infinity IF14-2 FWD, Creation Model have introduced this balancing weight for the front bumper with a weight of 45grams. For use on asphalt surfaces in low grip conditions or when you want to increase weight over the front axle and increase driving stability. Can be added to the kit’s standard 85 grams for a total of 130 grams and the weight also includes special new foam bumper to fit this additional weight.

Kobbevik doubles Norwegian Indoor Offroad Nats

The Norwegian EP Offroad Nationals were held this past weekend at the KayArena carpet track in Siggerud. The 2wd portion was run with four qualifiers and Daniel Kobbevik TQ’d all four with his Sunpadow/Hobbywing powered Schumacher LD2. Helge Johannesen and Eirik Andressen complete the top three on the grid. Daniel won A1 easily with Eirik Andreassen with his Yokomo second and Alexander Gjemble with his Schumacher third. In A2 Daniel had huge lead, but 1:45 before the finish, the right front wheel came off, and at same time earlier in the final Alexander and Eirik had a hard wheel to wheel battle and they came into each other, meaning they both missed the loop, so they lost one lap. That left them fighting for second and third. And with Daniel out of race as well, it was a total shake up with the ranking after A2. It ended with Vincent Rüger in front of Peter Strein and Helge Johannesen and so A3 was going to be exciting. A3 started, and Daniel went away right away leaving behind the fight for second and third was strong. It ended it was Eirik in front of Alexander, but with his win in A2, Rüger took the final overall podium spot.

2022 MonacoRC Race of Champions – Report

This past weekend MonacoRC organised the first ROC (Race Of Champions) organised in at the Monacorc Arena Ciserano in Italy. This first race took place on one of the best indoor asphalt tracks in Italy where the high grip and perfect curbing makes this place fantastic. The target of ROC is not only about racing, MonacoRC also organised customer support, having one representative present from many of the big brands in the RC market such as Xray, LRP, Hudy, Xtreme Aerodynamics, HotRace, Marka and many others, providing the best support to every driver present. The race schedule was made on time having a live stream with 4 different cameras on the track so everyone was able to follow this great race around the world that had 10 different nationalities of drivers present in 5 classes FWD, N22, F1, Stock EFRA and Modified.

Intellect 2022 LiPo range

Intellect have released a large new range of LiPo’s to the table for 2022. Covid-19 meant there was no new range for 2021 so this is the first update in 2 years. The batteries are identified by having metallic green labelling and have improved power from 2020 specs along with several new shapes to suit a wide range of classes. BRCA/EFRA Legal for 2022 and beyond, all the batteries have a burst current of 120C and have LIHV technology.

Awesomatix A12 short steering blocks & alloy block post

Awesomatix have introduced three new front end options for their A12 1/12th scale. The first two are optional steering blocks, standard axle position and a trailing version, with both being 1.4mm shorter in overall height, which provides additional 0,7mm space for droop/ride height settings. The final new item is an 5deg alloy steering block post which is 2,3g lighter each compared to the standard steel versions. Also steering block tubes are no longer needed when using these axles.

JConcepts Mini-B/T Scorpios, Ellipse, Swagger & Twin Pin

JConcepts have introduced a whole load of new premounted tires for the Losi Mini-T 2.0 & Mini-B. First up are the Scorpios featuring a scale looking tread and tough realistic profile. The design team focused on a closely knit tread arranging them in a pattern closely resembling a 1:1 scale tire. The padded arrangement of tread makes the tire ideal for transitioning from the hard road to dirt and then into rocky and uneven terrain. Once power is applied to the vehicle, the tread spacing opens which allows for some deep digging, making it a great working tire in dirt and muddy conditions.

Prostar RC Products Electro-Magnetic braking system

Prostar RC Products have introduced the only patented Electro-Magnetic braking system for 1/8 & 1/5 scale nitro vehicles. This innovation takes all the noise and fuss out of braking for your nitro vehicle as you enjoy backyard bashing or simply winning races and chasing titles. The Mag Brake makes it simple using only 8 parts. Eliminating up to 47 parts from the conventional brake system in a Nitro Car including multiple linkages, cams, springs, screws, stops, spacers, bearings, rods, pads and the large throttle brake servo. To install simply remove your centre bulkhead and differential. Re-using the stock differential and top plate, install their universal mag brake and car model-specific adapter kit in minutes. Power is supplied using the standard 7.4vdc receiver pack with a Dean’s plug for quality on and off connection. Connect the Mag brake controller to your throttle servo, front and rear magnets and to the receiver. Setup is simple, download the free Android or IOS application, power up your car, pair and adjust using their powerful class 1 Bluetooth, capable of up to 300feet depending on your model of phone. The first release in from July with versions for the RC8B4, TLR 8ightX and MBX8R expected with others to follow and for 1/5 scale in December of this year.

RC Maker Tekno NB48 2.0 carbon tank gaurd

RC Maker have introduced their carbon tank guard for the Tekno NB48 2.0 Buggy. The carbon tank guard shields the tank from heat generated by the exhaust, which can heat up fuel and cause damage to your fuel tank. It guard protects the tank from melting in crashes that may cause the pipe to get knocked inwards next to the tank. For installation, simply drill two holes in the upper catchment section of the tank, install your preferred M3x8 Screws and M3 Locknuts, and tighten. The guard can be used with the fuel line clips also to keep everything neat and tidy. The tank guard is 1mm thick and CNC Machined in Australia from high quality carbon fibre and features a nice CNC engraved RC MAKER Logo.
