Atsushi Hara is Buggy World Champion

Atsushi Hara is Buggy World Champion

Our partners Neo Buggy are reporting that after a long hard week in Charlotte, North Carolina, that Atsushi Hara has been victorious and claimed his 2nd World title. Racing the all new Hot Bodies D8, the Japanese driver, who is more famous for his touring car racing, upset the expected US domination by moving to the front pack from halfway distance in the hour long and then slowly picking off the competition one by one to take the lead. Despite some hard battles with Mike Truhe, the American couldn’t regain the lead and Hara would win by just over a second, with Losi driver Truhe in 2nd and European Champion Renaud Savoya from France taking 3rd, some 15 seconds further back.

Motonica P10 1/10th scale 200mm

Motonica P10 1/10th scale 200mm

Here are the first images of the all new Motonica P10 1/10th scale 200mm chassis. Shown for the first time on Sunday during the 1/8th scale EFRA GP in Cassino, the guys at Automodel.net got to take some photos as well as a video of the car being presented. The pictures, while not showing a completed production car do allow us to see what the car has in store, such as the low centre of gravity and very low drive train, while seemingly staying away from the very stylized look that the 1/8th scale cars have.
