Spower, the engine brand of chassis manufacturer Sworkz, has released it latest engine the B7TT SPEED Factory Tuned .21 Racing Engine.  Produced by O.S. Engines in Japan, it is a long-stroke engine that offers quick response at low speeds and more torque in the mid end with consistent idling.  The latest Spower B7TT SPEED piston/liner comes in a conventional 3-port configuration enabling smoother torque throughout the power range.  The engine’s crankshaft has 2 tungsten counterweights contributing to a consistent idle and quick RPM response according to the throttle movements.  The B7TT SPEED also has the latest technology rear thrust plate with surface treatment embedded in the cover plate.  This is to reduce friction against the connecting rod and to extend its life.  The crankcase of B7TT SPEED is redesigned with a new boost port and a new exhaust port for optimum air flow.

Infinity IF14-2MID 1:10 Electric Touring Car

Infinity has released a new ‘MID’ version of its IF14-2 1:10 Electric Touring Car.  Developed through numerous tests in actual races from the 2023 JMRCA All Japan Championship to the 2024 TITC, the basic structure of the MID’s suspension and drivetrain is inherited from the IF14-2 Team Edition. By equalising the front and rear drive belts and positioning the spur gear near the centre of the wheelbase, the weight distribution front and rear has been significantly altered. In addition to the stability of the IF14-2, it has evolved into a faster cornering car. The main spare parts and optional parts are compatible with the IF14-2. While the conventional split-type suspension holder allowed for fine setting changes, it had drawbacks such as increased weight and complexity in settings. In the IF14-2 MID kit the front and rear suspension blocks are integrated, helping simplify assembly and setup tuning.  This style offers easier maintenance allowing you to enjoy more time on track. It is also possible to use the traditional split-type suspension blocks as an option.

JConcepts Swaggoo 2WD Buggy Front tyre

JConcepts has introduced a new 2WD Buggy Tyre called the Swaggoo which features a multitude of heights and angular ribs for corner speed, consistency and straight-line tracking ability.  The Swagger, a popular tyre in the US brands line-up was used as inspiration for the new Swaggoo.  A new low-profile carcass matches the height of popular tires such as the Fuzz Bite and Pin Swag front tyres from JConcepts. This reactive concept with new staggered wedges with added teeth and notched large lugs works together to create corner speed.  The Swaggoo has shown to produce ultra-fast lap times while also being easier to drive than other options on the market.  A great tyre for the spec events such as the popular independent, 21.5, and 17.5 buggy classes.  A unique feature on the Swaggoo is the scalloped tyre bead which removes a lot of weight from a normally beefy area.  The tips of the bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheel which lead to a great alignment but now with reduced un-sprung weight.

Axon TC10/3 Aluminium Chassis Kit & option parts

Japanese manufacturer Axon has announced it is to offer its TC10/3 1:10 Electric Touring Car as an Aluminium Chassis Kit while also releasing new option parts for the platform.  The TC10/3 Aluminium Chassis Kit (Photo is team driver Akio Sobue’s Alu race car) features a high-rigidity aluminium chassis that enhances the overall rigidity of the car while providing adequate chassis flex.  This achieves well-balanced driving performance and boasts excellent driving feel on carpet surfaces and high stability on asphalt tracks.  Already being used by Sobue, the new options for the TC10/3, which was launched last November, include an Aluminium Body Stopper which attaches to the front knuckle arm to stabilise the front end of the body, improving stability in high-speed corners.  There is also a new Aluminium Rear T-Brace chassis stiffener that enhances the rigidity of the rear section.  Using the aluminium rear T-brace improves rear grip and achieves high cornering speed.  Carbon Knuckle Arms provides a milder driving feel and improves ride quality over road gaps.  Finally Axon has added a 3g Chassis Weight for adjusting load transfer during driving.
