JConcepts Tool Box with upper storage

Having unveiled back in September it was introducing a new range of Toolbox and Storage box options, JConcepts has released the first in the new the line with this Tool Box with upper storage.   The Florida based company’s most expensive injection molded project to date, the design centers around the lower box which can be shared with two different functioning covers. The toolbox cover serves as the upper deck and features JConcepts branding, has a host of space and individual dividers which can be secured in to place.  The smoke colour of the upper lid is rather stealthy and allows a racer to see what compartments are open or utilised but not a complete reveal for wandering eyes. The lower box has several built-in sectionals and many places to add and secure larger dividers to outfit the space as a racer desires.  The dividers in traditional storage boxes are handy, but tend to slide, move and fall out during use. JConcepts set out to secure these dividers by designing a system where they can be secured with a screw from the underside of the box.

Boda leaves Sworkz

After just clinching the French 1:8 eBuggy National Championship title, top French racer Clément Boda has announced that he is to part ways with his chassis sponsor Sworkz.  Joining the Taiwanese manufacturer at the beginning of 2022, Boda represented the brand in both 1:8 and 1:10 offroad, winning four national title in 1:10 with their buggies, but after 3-years has decided to move to ‘new horizons’.  On his Facebook page Boda, who just turned 20, said, ‘After 3 years with Sworkz, it’s time for me to move on to new horizons.  It’s been an emotional three years, with ups and downs, hard work, travel, good times and lots of racing. I’d especially like to thank Max Sonnleitner, Micha Widmaier, Georg Horninger, Jerome Sartel and Sébastien Mure.  You put me in good conditions from the start and throughout our partnership.  Thanks to you, these three years have been accompanied by good results and this challenge, which was really a new one for us, was, I think, taken up with great pride.  Many thanks again to the Sworkz team, I wish you all the best for the future, and look forward to seeing you on the track.’
