DE Racing Hyper 8.5 rear skid plate

DE Racing, the new company we wrote about in March, that makes unique rear skid plates that protect your expensive 1/8 scale buggy or truggy chassis have added a new manufacturer to their range. Now available for the Hobao/OFNA Hyper 8 & 8.5, these U.S. made items wear like aluminum but at a fraction of the cost and weight and are ultra thin, eliminating the need for longer screws.

Fabrizio Teghesi joins Kyosho

Kyosho Germany have confirmed that front running Italian buggy racer Fabrizio Teghesi has joined their team to race the Japanese company’s buggy and truggy. Starting his racing career with buggies in 2000, the Italian racer was runner up in the National Championships last year, racing for Crono, and will this year compete for Kyosho at both National and International level, including the World Championships in the USA.

HPI Racing T-shirt & HB Tool bag

Some more products to come out of HPI, with the release of this 100% cotton black t-shirt. Featuring a large HPI Racing logo on the front, the rear sports the companies web address in white across the back. Also new for the range of Hot Bodies tools, is this handy tool case that can hold a large number of tools using rubber loops, while for looks the black case has orange trimming and sports the HB World Champion logo on the front.

Hot Bodies Cyclone TC options

Hot Bodies have released a number of new option parts for their Cyclone touring car, starting with this all new chassis plate. Made from 2.5mm thick carbon fibre it has been optimised to be used with 5 cells, and following extensive testing this was the best shape and configuration they could achieve. Also new for the same car is a purple anodised aluminium steering set that increases durability in this area as well some new front drive cups, which reduce vibration of the drive shafts that can occur in cornering, providing more stable steering. For better handling, there are new coated shock bodies that provide a much smoother shock action and finally there are some lightweight aluminium ball joints in 2 different lengths and a set of purple anodised titanium track rods.
