Edit RC have released a new caged thrust bearing for use in the Hot Bodies Cyclone touring car which makes maintenance of your cars ball diff faster and easier. Designed for use in differentials with a 2mm diff screw, it replaces the thrust bearing plates and loose ball system supplied with the kit normally, meaning the balls stay in place during the assembly / disassembly process.

Team Associated have released a number of new parts for gas off road racers, including new exhaust systems and parts for the RC8. First up is the Factory Team 1/8 scale muffler, which features a 3-chamber design that provides a great combination between bottom end punch and top end performance and is available in both polished and non stick, easy to clean, black. Associated also offer a new off road manifold which is available only in non stick black. For the company’s RC8 buggy, there is a front and rear chassis brace that helps increase chassis stiffness, a great tuning option for high grip conditions where you want to reduce chassis flex. Includes nylon locking insert for added security.

Trion, makers of cooling fans and other electrical items, have released this LiPo cooling fan battery. Similar to their previous cooling fan pack, this is also very light (17g) but has more power, packing an adequate 250mAh while remaining very thin and flat. Supplied with a Futaba type socket to connect the fan directly to the power source, there is also a plug for charging. The pack has built in overcharge and excessive discharge protection circuits and a very small footprint of only 27.5 mm x 41mm x 7mm.

The kit which includes a billet aluminium forward engine mount, a billet aluminium rear engine mount and a steel throttle return spring makes installing .21 or larger sized engine very easy. Robitronic have announced the release of new sealed ball bearings, in standard sizes, for off road racing. Available with either steel or ceramic balls, both types are fitted with rubber gaskets to prevent dirt entering the bearing and damaging them. All bearings come pre oiled for high rpm usage and fit a variety of applications with the 5x10x4mm ball bearings ideal for use as clutch bearings. Robitronic now also sell ceramic balls in both 2.4mm and 3mm diameters and are supplied in a pack of 12, making them ideal for ball differentials.

Team Corally have announced more details on their ‘New Generation F1’ that we showed you back in October. This car’s design is based on the World Championship winning 12X concept, resulting in an easy to work on high performance driving machine as well great part availability since most parts on this new F1 are interchangeable with the 12X. The New Generation F1 uses the World’s best materials and production methods which includes super tough and strong 3.2mm GRP chassis parts, 7075 T6 aluminium motorpod and graphite rear axle. This combines super low weight with high rigidity and durable on-track performance. It comes complete with mounted tires, F-type body and moulded front & rear wing.

Hitec have released details about the soon to be released HS-82, the replacement for the HS-81 series of servo which features many improvements over its predecessor. A more powerful motor, updated electronics and longer life potentiometer yield higher torque, more speed and better centering for today’s more demanding Radio Control Applications. The HS-82 is offered in two versions, one with karbonite gears for precise, slop free movements or one with metal gears for strength and impact resistance.
