David Crompton rejoins Crono

David Crompton rejoins Crono

Our partners Neo Buggy have the news that 8 times British National Champion David Crompton has rejoined Italian buggy maker Radiosistemi to race their new Crono RS7GR. David left the Italian manufacturer at the end of last year to take on the challenge of the new Team Magic M1B, but then moved to Hobao from the middle of the season onwards after the M1B failed to deliver. David had this to say about his new deal –

I would really like to thank HoBao and CML for all their support this year, I’m happy to be back at Radiosistemi, and the RS7GR is the best handling car I have ever driven, everything is improved, quality, performance, speed!

Ultimate Racing Tire Balancer

Ultimate Racing Tire Balancer

Ultimate Racing have released details about their new tire balancer, which works with the wheels of buggies, rally game cars and truggies. After many tests and exchange of opinions with their team drivers, UR came to the conclusion that unbalanced wheels produce unnecessary vibrations to the shock absorber, affecting both traction and stability of the cars while jumping. To take care of this problem they have developed this system to balance wheel weight which works by helping to find the heaviest part of the wheel, and in turn allowing you to balance it through the use of the UR balancing paste which can be applied to the opposite side of the rim.

Futaba 4PK 2.4GHz Radio System

 Futaba 4PK 2.4GHz Radio System

The Futaba 4PK was only just released and drew a lot of attention from racers due to its rather unique look. The 4PK’s contemporary styling is not only unique, it’s extremely well balanced and ergonomic and because the transmitter only weighs 1.5 pounds, you won’t worry about hand fatigue all the way through a grueling main. Besides the repositionable wheel, you can also adjust the trigger location to fit your finger and programming pluses include 40-model memory, 12-character naming, super-sensitive 2048 resolution and a 4th channel that’s ideal for adjusting front and rear brake bias in monster trucks. And here’s the best part: the 4PK was designed from the beginning as a spread spectrum system, which means the 2.4GHz module is built in, a state-of-the-art receiver is included, and all of the incredible advantages of FASST system technology are at your command!
