Team Luna Glory 23T motor

With the creation of a stock racing class in Japan, there has been increasing manufacturer interest and recently we have seen quite a number of 23T motors released onto the market. This latest motor is from Team Luna, and its called the Glory Kaiser 23T Super Stock motor, and it looks very similar to all the previous releases we have seen. This particular motor, features a balanced rotor, an adjustable brush angle, 6 blade cooling fan and is available in 2 versions, distinguished by its red or blue endbell finish, with either high torque or high top end revs, and all meet JMRCA regulations.

Powers Perfect Discharger

Powers International of Japan have released their own brand discharger, called suitably enough, the Perfect Discharger. This simple object plugs into your 4 to 8 cell battery pack, handling voltages of 4.8v to 9.6v, and discharges it at a rate of 1A and when the temperature gets too hot, it will automatically lower the discharge to 0.3A. When the pack is discharged it will automatically shut off and sound a beeper, as well as a light a built in LED, to tell you its done.

Futaba have announced the release of 2 new brushless, metal gear, high torque servos, the super high torque BLS351 and the smaller but faster BLS451, both of which are perfect for on and off road gas racing. Associated Factory Team Diff & Shock Fluids

Associated have announced the release of these new diff and shock fluids under their Factory Team brand. The diff fluid is for use in gear differentials, such as those found in their soon the be released RC8 buggy, with this silicone based fluid being made available in all popular grades from 1000 to 10000cst. Also released today is 2 new additions to their range of silicone shock fluid, 45WT (575cst) and 55WT (725cst). Both products are sold in 2oz. bottles and both are available in July.

Wayne Mah wins CORCS series Rd1

Wayne Mah wins CORCS series Rd1

Xray are reporting on their site from round 1 of the CORCS Region 5 series that was held last weekend in Edmonton, Canada. In the buggy class it was Xray racer Wayne Mah who set the TQ in cold conditions on Saturday and he also managed to TQ the truggy class too, in his first event with the new XT8. In the 45 minute buggy final Wayne, and team mate Cory, lead the field for the whole race with Mah eventually taking the chequered flag for the win, 25 seconds ahead of Cory in 2nd. In the truggy class it was again Mah that took the win, despite his car flaming out and requiring a new plug which dropped him a lap down.

Giesa wins 1/10th German North Regionals

Giesa wins 1/10th German North Regionals

Serpent are reporting on the final round of the North German National qualifying race held at the Tuttendorf track in changing conditions. Ralf Krause TQ’d with his Serpent 720 ahead of team-mate Andreas Giesa in 2nd while in the final the pairing enjoyed a superb battle for 1st before Krause lost 2nd gear, which allowed Giesa to storm home for the win. A great drive by Guttschau saw him come home in 2nd positions ensuring a podium double for Serpent, while Hasselbring came home in 3rd.
