Hirosaka edition Kyosho Stallion

Hirosaka edition Kyosho Stallion

We have shown you the work done by Masaaki Hirosaka on the Kyosho Stallion before in which he has completely modified it to the point that it is hardly recognisable. Today on his site he has announced that his version of the car will be shown at this weeks Shizuoka Hobby show, and judging by the very neat and final looking car in the picture above we presume it is getting ready to be sold. Also mentioned on his site is the fact that he will be selling, to order, pre built versions of the standard Kyosho Stallion TF-5, so if you ever wanted your car built by a World Champions mechanic, now is your chance.

Eagle Racing Setup board

Eagle Racing Setup board

Japanese firm Eagle Racing have announced the release of the new version of their setup board for 1/12th, up to 1/8th scale, chassis’. The board itself is similar to most setup boards on the market, but the unique part, apart from the printed measurement, is the built in tweak board. Pivoting inside the setup board it allows the user to quickly check their tweak without the need to setup a seperate tweak board, while the board itself features a flat level so that you know that you have placed the board flat, ensuring that the tweak is accurate.

Last weekend saw the 2nd round of the Spanish 1/8th scale National Championship take place at the fast new Valladolid track, 2 hours north west of Madrid. In the main final, round 1 winner and current National Champion, Oscar Cabezas was bumped into which dropped him back to last which meant he had to put on a recovery drive, which he duly did, working his way back up to the front of the field. Mugen racer Josue Artiles took the race win after a steady drive just ahead of Juanito Hidalgo, driving for Motonica, while Serpent racer Cabezas ended the race in 3rd position, only 1 lap behind the leaders.
