Gio Racing LPC Clutch

Gio Racing LPC Clutch

German company Gio Racing, set up by Italian Giovanni Petrocelli, have released this new LPC Clutch which is suitable for both the Motonica and Mugen chassis’. Moving away from heavy steel parts Gio Racing have made the LPC clutch from exotic materials such as titanium, magnesium and ergal which mean the clutch is more responsive thanks to its lighter weight, yet is very durable as was proven at the recent Wiesbaden 3 hours that was one by Robert Will using this very same clutch system. The full set costs EUR100 and every clutch is made to order so if you want one expect to wait a short while after ordering to finally receive it.

TCS Cooling system for Brushless

TCS Cooling system for Brushless

Just last week we wrote about the TCS cooling system that uses liquid as a means to keep your cars electronics cool. Now today we see that a version for brushless systems has been developed that now not only cools the motor, as in the original version, but also comes with a cooling plate that attaches itself to your BL speed controller. According to tests made on the original system it does work but at the expense of some, but not much, weight and also i am not sure if such a cooling system is legal for racing, but with more and more expensive equipment melting on race day perhaps it would be worth considering such a system.
