Trinity Grand Stand

Trinity have announced the release of their new ‘Grand Stand’, which is a folding car stand designed to hold the all R/C vehicles from 1/16th cars and trucks up to the biggest 1/7th scale monster trucks. Constructed using a light weight molded composite, and screw assembled, the Trinity patented design allows the â€œGrand Standâ€ to be folded down flat for easy storage in your pit box. Available this month for $49.99.

Much More Power Truer

Much More, the accessories specialists, have released more details about their latest product, the Power Truer, that was first shown at the TITC in February. Powered by a 12V power source, the Power Truer is a simple tool with one switch that spins your rubber tires, allowing you to sand them and as always from Much More it will be made available in Black, Moore Purple and Rheinard Blue. Expect them to be on sale in mid April.

SMI announce German NT1 Team

German NT1 Team

SMI, the German importers of Xray cars, has announced on their site the 11 strong team that will contest the German Nationals driving the Slovakian manufacturers new 200mm chassis, the NT1. For the southern region they have Alexander Stocker, Thomas GÃ¼nsel, Michael Heinrich and Robert Pietsch, the latter if you recall is the designer of the Shepherd Velox 07. For central Germany they will have Dirk Wischnewski and Patrik Garbi, in east Germany they will have Wilfried Stecker and finally in the west they will be represented by European 235mm Champion Alain Levy, Alex Piperato and the brother team of JÃ¶rg and Uwe Baldes who recently signed to Motonica in 1/8th scale.

Ian Haley wins 2007 Ballajura Masters

2007 Ballajura Masters

Last weekend saw the 2007 Radio Rally Club’s Ballajura Masters Trophy Day run on the clubs temporary track in Perth, Western Australia. The event attracted 48 drivers which were spread over 3 classes which included 1/8 scale buggies, truggies and Monster trucks, and the most competitive class, the buggy class, was won by OCM driver Ian Haley who finished 2 laps ahead of 2nd placed Clint Van Esch with Rob Ralston finishing in 3rd.

Richi Gomez leaves Axe Rossi

The continuing saga of Richi Gomez and his engine supplier continues, as he was recently spotted back running RB motors after apparently stepping out of his high profile deal to run with Axe Rossi motors, which was announced earlier this year. Richi, a GS racer, had raced for RB motors prior to his new deal with Axe Rossi but had only stayed with the French Manufacturer for a short time and prior to that had run with Novarossi. According to our site partners Neo Buggy, his return to RB engines is a deal brokered through Richi and the Spanish RB distributor, and not direct the factory as his prior deals were.

Tamiya release the TA05-R

Well today Tamiya announced today that the car will be available on the 7th of April and along with that released more information about this car as well as a few more close up pictures. As we have already written about the cars features we have decided to just show you the pictures instead.

Mark Green wins Rd1 of 200mm UK Nats

Mark Green has won the first round of the 1/10th 200mm Foam National Championships held last weekend at the fast sweeping Tibshelf track. With around 80 drivers present for this opening round Mark Green showed his intentions for this year by going out and winning the race, one lap ahead of Kyosho racer Chris Slater who finished in 2nd position with Steve Brown claiming the 3rd spot also for Kyosho. In 4th spot was 13 year old Serpent SDD driver Kyle Branson who after qualifying 6th, moved up the field during the race to claimed 4th at the chequered flag.

Neil Cragg wins Rd1 BRCA Rally X Nats

World buggy Champion Neil Cragg has won the first round of the 2007 BRCA Rallycross Nationals held last weekend at Sandy track’s in Bedfordshire and our partners Racer Magazine where there to bring us this report: Qualifying was shared between three drivers with Tommy Chung winning the first round with his Sirio powered Kyosho before David Crompton won round two with his new Team Magic M1-B/RB combination. The third and final round was dominated by Neil Cragg with the only Associated RC8 at the meeting as he set a blistering time that marked his card for the half hour final.
