Our partners Buggy Sport are reporting that 2 times German Vice Champion Timo Engelstatter has switched over to the Team Losi for the 2007 season. Staying with the Graupner team, that recently signed Sonke Matz to also race Losi, Timo last year raced with the HoBao Hyper8 which is also imported by the same company.

Serpent are reporting that multiple Dutch National Champion John Ermen has signed to race for Serpent Netherlands in the 2007 season. Returning to the Dutch manufacturer after a number of years away racing for Mugen, John will be seen as one of the favourites for the Dutch title this year.
The current 1:8 Dutch National Vice-Champion, Ermen will head Serpent’s challenge for 1:8 success in its home country. Racing since 1990, Â having caught the bug for rc racing from his father and older brother, Â John has an impressive racing CV which includes three World Championships appearances including the 2001 event in Australia.

First up we have a red t-shirt featuring the Much More logo, which is very similar to the Hoodie they released a while back. Just before christmas RB ran a competition on their site to guess the identity of their new World Champion driver. Well in what has turned out to be a great anti-climax for us news hounds it appears that that drivers identity is 10 time World Champion mountain biker Nicolas Vouilloz. I wont even pretend to have heard of him before but apart from his skills on a mountain bike it turns out that he is pretty nifty in a rally car too.

In an announcement from Team Associated today, the US company owned by Thunder Tiger, have confirmed, what was a badly kept secret, that they will enter into the 1/8th scale buggy market with their ‘Factory Team RC8’. The statement also confirmed the identity of their team who will race and further develop the car.
Set to lead the Worldwide racing campaign for the RC8 are current ROAR 1/8th Scale National Champion, Ryan Maifield, two-time IFMAR World Champion Ryan Cavalieri and multi-time U.S. National Champion, Richard Saxton. In addition, ROAR “A†main finalist JR Mitch and Kyle Skidmore will focus on regional events and select National contests in the United States.
