Yokomo MS1.0 Aluminum Rear Upper Bulkhead

New from Yokomo for their competition spec 1:10 Electric Touring Car is this MS1.0 Aluminium Rear Upper Bulkhead.  Castor of the new upper arm is set at 2 degrees, reduced from the kit’s standard 4 degrees, to improve rear turning performance in corners.  In high-grip surfaces, the timing for corner exit is quicker resulting in greater on power traction.  In addition, the aluminium shock mounts, which were previously mounted on graphite shock towers can now be mounted directly to the bulkhead.

SuperRad SR-32 SuperMafia 1:10 Touring Car body

New from SuperRad comes their first 1:10 Touring Car bodyshell, the SR-32 SuperMafia.  The American competition bodyshell manufacturer is producing two options of the SR-32 SuperMafia, the .5mm  polycarbonate ‘Lite’ and the .4mm ‘SuperLite’.  Both ROAR and BRCA approved it comes complete with decal sheet, window masks, wing, and wing hardware.

Martin wins British Offroad Masters on Xray debut

Lee Martin has kicked of his new drive with Xray with victory at the BRCA British Offroad Masters which was hosted by the well respected Worksop Radio Car Club.  Run using the famous Reedy Race Format, drivers competed in 6 heads up races first in 2WD before repeating the format again the following day in 4WD.  Saturday’s 2WD action would end with Ben Smith and Neil Cragg at the top of the points table on equal points with 5 rounds to count.  Behind them Martin would sit P3 going into Sunday’s 4WD action with defending Champion Tommy Hall lying P4.  With drivers complimentary of this year’s ‘fun’ track layout, it was Jonny Skidmore who came out topp of the 4WD ranking after the 6-rounds ahead of Hall but matching his P3 in the 2WD ranking it was Martin who was crowned the overall Champion ahead of team-mate Skidmore.  Hall’s Team Associated completed the podium ahead of Cragg and Smith.

MSE MSB1 +5mm CFRP Shock Towers

MSE Performance Parts Germany have released new optional CFRP Front and Rear Shock Towers for the Mugen Seiki MSB1 1:10 2WD Buggy.  +5 mm wider than the original, they provide more stability on carpet and high grip tracks due to possibility to change the angle of the damper more steep.  MSE also claim the new towers contribute to better control of the buggy during jumps, as well as faster steering and stability during rapid load changes.

Yokomo confirm Krapp for 3rd MIBO International outing

Having attended the previous two years of MIBO International, Yokomo has confirmed its return for the 3rd edition of the annual Czech race where it will once again be represented by ISTC World Championship podium finisher Christopher Krapp.  The Japanese manufacturer’s lead international driver and team manager travels to Hrotovice aiming to mix it with defending Champion Michal Orlowski over the weekend of February 07-09.  A unique event, MIBO International brings together both electric touring car and electric offroad racers on the same weekend with the building of two indoor carpet tracks side by side at the Sports V Hotel.  With everything from the track, restaurant, bowling alley and hotel rooms all under one roof, the venue has always been popular with racers and counts Bruno Coelho, Ronald Volker, Joern Neumann, Adam Izsay and Bartek Zalewski as some of its champions.  With a capped entry limit the relaxed schedule means plenty of time in the evening to wind down and socialise over dinner after each day’s racing.

Bultinck & Braham win Bleiswijk 1:12 Liga Race – Report

After a very successful first event in 2024, the permanent track of RC Indoor Bleiswijk in The Netherlands was over the weekend the host of the Dutch edition of the 2025 Die 12. Liga, a series of 1:12 races organised by veteran 1:12 racer Markus Mobers.  With almost 50 entries from Germany, Belgium, France and The Netherlands competing in 2 classes, it was Awesomatix driver Olivier Bultynck who took the win in LMP 13.5T while there was a home victory for Yuri Braham in GT 17.5T.
